Honestly I don’t get the bad reviews ! Yall this bowl Mac and cheese bowl with pulled pork is banging ! So good and I have some left over because they give you a lot . Just give this place a try . It’s great and friendly

Ive heard mixed reviews, but I had to find out about Stubbys for myself. The atmosphere has a retro feel like a diner. The seating is open and comfortable. The ice cream parlor looks amazing with lots of offerings. The waitress was friendly enough, but the place seemed understaffed she kept apologizing for not having more help. I had to ding them on the prices, food is overpriced. There are much better places with the same menu items in town. My opinion, they should focus on the locals and offering regional favorites on the menu instead of catering to out-of-towners by charging more.

i forgot to take before pictures so here's some during 🤪 two of us got smash burgers, i got the hot turkey and we got the appetizer special food was absolutely delicious (especially the mac n cheese) all was hot and fresh too the service was amazing and pur waitress wa super kind, she ended up asking to give my little brother some ice cream which he was very happy about for four people it was 72 dollars which imo is REALLY good.
we loved it here and will definitely be back

This is one of the worst restaurants in Berkely. This location has been home to numerous venues of restaurants over the years, so when we were aware that it was open again under a new owner, we thought we would give it a try. Big mistake! Linda ordered hot tea but the cup of water was luke warm, not fit for tea. The preferred temperature for hot tea is 205 degrees F, according to the website of Bunn Coffee Makers. This was more like 120 degrees F. Her dinner was also warm at best. I ordered the Rueben sandwich which I must say, was disappointing. It contained 2 slices of lunchmeat corned beef, a bit of cheese and Russian dressing. The price for this sammie was $20.00, definitely not worth it! You can get a much better Rueben at the Country Inn in Berkely for less money, with better atmosphere and real corned beef. Or you can go to Bad Boyz in Bedford, PA and get a Rueben that will knock your socks off for $3.00 less. I have noticed that the owner/manager of Stubbys Grill answers all negative reviews and basically makes it the fault of the customer. He faults the customers for not calling out the bad food or service at the time of occurrence. Most diners do not like to cause a scene when they are out eating. More importantly, he or she misses the point, your food sucks and you have no quality standards for your business. Have you heard of consistency? Get more involved with what is coming out of your kitchen. If you don't, your business will go down like all the others before you. Good Luck!

We had the egg nog and peppermint boozy shakes they was amazing the smashburger was ok the wife got the chicken Alfredo she said was good,crab soup was different but good so the place was pretty decent one thing the son wanted a refill never came probably cause the waitress was super busy no biggie ,decent people

This is definitely somewhere we will come back! It was like a home cooked meal with Hershey's ice cream for dessert. Real mashed potatoes and roast beef, green beans were wonderfully seasoned, mac and cheese was creamy, and chicken parm bites were full of flavor. Portions were nicely sized and the waitress was quick and attentive. Definitely give it a try! (Parking in back)

We had a fantastic meal and a fantastic chat with several of the staff. Our son also took a nasty tumble skateboarding, limped inside Stubby’s, and called us. By the time we got there one of the waitresses had him cleaned up and bandaged while other staff brought him water and distracted him with their own scrapes with gravity. This place is a true asset to the community and we will be back!

I had salt and vinegar wings that were large, well cooked and delicious. The onion rings were also very good. My wife had a Greek salad that she enjoyed. We finished with a scoop of vanilla ice cream topped with local apple butter, heck yeah!! Our server Natalie was as sweet as a conveyor belt in a donut factory. The owner was also lovely. It’s a great little spot.
