“Nice local spot. Nice outside enclosed bar. I have to say that some of the servers are awesome, but some are just okay. Food is average at best. Had the ribs (I don't recommend) had the mussels (I don't recommend). The girlfriend had the Mac and cheese with brisket. She said it wasn't too bad. It's a pub stick with the wings and burgers. Beer is cold and a good selection. There are lots of tvs to catch the game on. And my favorite thing was the locals. I met a few, and all were friendly and inviting into their conversations.“

“Love this place. Have been going for over 30 years. Once I became a mom the tradition carried on and over the last 20 years I have been taking my kids every weekend, non-stop even to see some repeated movies. We have always even parked in the same row. Second row under the shelter. We bring our lawn chairs and blankets and have a wonderful family night and tradition. I just hope that it stays up and running for years to come because now that my kids are grown I'm planning on bringing my grandbabies and my kids significant others every week to continue the family tradition and family bonding time. “The food was amazing. I can not say enough good things about the beer battered French fries ?! I had the Shroom smash burger (awesome), and my husband had the wings. They were huge! We had a few cocktails, as well. It was all very, very great. “Passed by The Social Tap several times on my way back from a chiropractic appointment in Jane Lew to my apartment in Bridgeport. Looked it up online and saw that it had good reviews. Last evening, my partner and I were trying to decide where we wanted to eat, but we didn't want to go to the typical places. I happened to think of The Social Tap as a possibility, but I wasn't sure about the type of food they served. My partner is accustomed to eating food high in carbs, but I am gluten and dairy free. ? I figured worst-case, I could get a salad. Looking over the menu after we found a table, I decided on the Rothesburger, which is typically served on a bun with cheddar cheese and served with fries. I ordered mine sans bun, cheese, ketchup and fries. Honestly, it was one of the best burgers I've had when dining out for a long time! My partner ordered a pepperoni and sausage pizza and ate the whole thing, so I assume it was good. ?
