12/29: went to drive-thru and waited at least 10 minutes with no response. Two other cars behind me. Drove around a parked to order inside. A woman was parked next to me, in the closest spot to the entrance, and entered the restaurant just in front of me. Didn't even hold the door open for me. She worked there! No smile, no acknowledgement of me. The epitome of poor customer service and unfriendly attitude. Taking the best parking spot should have been a clue to the service standards in the place. One young man inside was very nice and seemed to be handling both the front counter and drive-thru. Two otjer customers were waiting for their orders when I got there and were still waiting after I got my very small order. They didn't look happy. There was an older guy, maybe the mamager(?), wiping down the counters, totally oblivious to the customers waiting, both inside and the drive-thru. Poor service and wait times are usually consistant here. Seem to be understaffed with near zero training or supervision. A couple employees are good, but just a couple. Store needs a new owner/manager who cares about customers!

Sat at the drive through speaker for 10 minutes and was completely ignored. Will never be returning and will tell every person I know to go somewhere else. Worst A&W ever.

Pull up to the window with only 1 car in front of us and wait for 5 mins to get our order taken. Told in the drive through line that they were out of strawberry milkshakes, no big deal, change to chocolate. Get to the window and are told they are out of ice cream entirely. At this time the food still isn’t even ready, so they send us around to park in the front where we sat for 15 minutes with no food in sight. Ended up taking over 20 minutes to get our food. If you’re looking for a quick stop off this is not the place for you.

We went through the drive thru and they were having difficulty with their card reader. They swiped my card many times, resulting in a double charge. Of course, by the time I realized it I had thrown the receipt out. Fortunately, I was able to dispute the charge with my bank. It wasn't a huge amount (like $30), but who wants to pay $60 for some drive thru hush puppies and burgers? I hope it didn't happen to anyone else!

Absolutely awful. Used the drive thru which took way longer then it should have and ordered a chili cheese dog. This hot dog was black and hard as a rock. It looked like it had been siting for days. I had to throw it away as it was not edible. Not to mention my daughter's root beer float had spiled over, and instead of getting a new cup we were let with a sticky mess.

My husband just left there. He was in drive thru for over 5 mins and was told to hold on. Finally after waiting for so long he went inside where there was only 2 people ordering food. And plenty of workers but mainly standing doing absolutely nothing and gave no good reason for not taking his order at the window other than they didn't mean to. Then as my husband was leaving he seen another person being left in the drive thru as well. So if your willing to wait over 10 minutes in pretty much empty establishment and deal with workers who would rather hit on people and talk on there phones instead of work then by all means come here. And sadly this isn't the first time this has happened.

Just don’t bother. They have 4 people on the floor and it looks like none of them have any organization whatsoever. The place was slow when we came in and it appears they were completely unprepared for 4 customer orders. Manager tries to come out and schmooze with disgruntled guests only to disappear and leave his team floundering. +10 mins, 2 customers in front of me, and no food still. Also, no root beer floats available at a&w on a Thursday? Man on the fryer is just bare handing breaded shrimp without gloves… I just can’t.

Super friendly, food made fresh, everything was tasty. Bathrooms and restaurant were clean. Disappointed that we couldn't get floats because of a maintenance issue, not staff fault but still sad. We'll definitely stop again next time we're in town.

Probably not their fault, but how are you going to be known for root beer floats and not have ice cream? You don't see many A&W's around anymore, and I understand this is a combo store with Long John Silver's, which, to be clear, was not my understanding when I GPS'd here. I was not serviced, so I could not rate the service, but the place looked awful. It's a shame looking at other reviews how this combination store operates. Truly mediocre, and definitely not worth the drive. Now I understand why we are seeing the end of the A&W legacy.
