“Wow for starters my husband got loaded steak fries and where I’m from it’s steakums nooo this was actual steak on fries it was so good I ate some of his plus what I ordered I ordered the bbq pulled pork sandwich and fries it was so good . The lady was very friendly and the wait wasn’t long we definitely will be back .”

“Today was our second visit to Joan +Joe’s. And it did not disappoint. The Midwinter Latte was SO GOOD!! My husband got his hot & I got mine iced & both were delicious. Last week my husband got the Caramel Dream & he liked it as well. Very good quality. And the whipped cream is so yummy too. The staff is so friendly & welcoming. Looking forward to many trips in the future”

“My server Cassi R provided excellent service with a wonderful demeanor; I felt very welcomed and hope to have her table the next time I dine there.

My food was excellently prepared and that brioche bread and honey butter...I had to fight hard not to inhale it...it was so good.

I do have two critiques:
1. Ensure the steak knives are properly sharpened. My bison ribeye was perfectly prepared, but at times I had a little difficulty cutting it due to a slightly dull steak knife.
2. Please update your online menu! I did my research before arriving and knew what I wanted, to include dessert. The online menu lists an apple crumble dessert; that's what I wanted. However, when presented with the dessert menu, I was disappointed to be informed that apple crumble had been removed from the menu sometime ago, and for some unknown reason the online menu has not been updated.”

“We have already ordered here many times and love the food… when it’s actually fresh. Today I put in an order for 1:30-1:40 and when I arrived at exactly 1:30 the food was already on the shelf. However, as I was picking up the bag I could feel the food was already completely cold. Like no warmth whatsoever. It must have been prepared at least 10 minutes before I scheduled to pick up. I didn’t want to be a Karen so I just went home but my husband and I were very disappointed with the cold food. I also found a hair in my wrap. Please make sure employees are wearing a hair net or hat at least!

Otherwise, the place is clean and the staff are friendly. They greet you when you walk in and help you immediately.”

“Applebee’s of Charles Town reached out to our new nonprofit organization to run a campaign for military appreciation month in May. We had our first Dine to Donate event last night and it was amazing! The staff were great to both myself and the guests, the wings were on-point, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was extremely welcoming and fun. What a great place to snag dinner with the family or wind down after a work day!”

“This was our first visit to 9 Dragons. We were seated immediately in Jini's section. She did an excellent job of answering our questions. She was sure to explain to me the salmon would not come out as a grilled filet but as sliced breaded bites that are cooked in the wok. The salmon dish was good but could have been better with more sauce. The spicy tuna roll was delicious! My husband had the General Tso chicken and said it was kind of lacking in flavor. Overall we had a good experience but would probably order different entrees if we decide to eat here again.”

“I’ve been eating here since I was 16 years old over 40 years now and it is even more special to me now since this is the last place I had lunch with my son before he passed away. I live in Florida now for over 15 years but every time I come home to visit family. I always come here sit in the same booth that Jeff and I sat at for that last lunch over 4 years ago now.”

“im not sure the gentleman's. name that delivered pur pizza today, but he is by far the nicest delivery driver ive met. we had a horrible experience with one delivery driver and this man made up for that today. he deserves a raise and to be recognized for sure. im Sorry I didnt get his name, but our delivery was on S. George Street if that helps. thank you to him!!”
