“Though I've never had the need to fulfill an order in addition to interacting with the staff, it is easy to see that the bakery here does well. Items are baked fresh every day, with older items being discounted and grouped together at the end of business hours. Before a relatively new update to the area, flies were constantly flying around and landing on open food such as donuts and bagels. However, this problem has been remedied. The item selection here is mostly good and well recommended, but the quality of some such as their donuts could be raised higher. However, the breads here are great tasting.“

“I stopped in while waiting for a friend to arrive for our tea time across the street and ended up buying three things here. It was hard to narrow down what I'd pick because everything looked so amazing. I ended up with one mini quiche and two desserts. Just wow. Everything was so incredibly delicious. Now I'll have to make Barryville a regular trip lol.

Also worth noting that while it doesn't apply to me, they seemed to have a fair amount of gluten free options.“

An interesting old building wonderfully restored, with seating on multiple levels; an outdoors balcony perched over the street below, where you can sit and read or simply observe, unseen by pedestrians, shaded and with a fresh breeze. A small, quiet courtyard out back surrounded by the ancient rocks and blooming plants, secluded from street traffic. A friendly staff. Pups welcome. Delicious coffees and teas. And as scrumptious a pastry as any I’ve had, anywhere. Arrive at 7:00 when the baked goods are piping hot and fresh out of the oven and it’s an experience you’d be hard pressed to improve upon.“
