“Great bakery in Marshall. We've stopped in twice for a special treat & coffee. I love the almond cake, which happens to be gluten-free. I have also tried the lemon cake, which is delicious. I love to support small businesses.“

“I've often walked past their hot foods section, and their Indian food always looks so good! I decided to try it. I can say with 100% confidence that their Indian food is BOMB! So worth it! The chicken tiki masala was so creamy and tender! I made my own rice at home and it was delightful- 5/5 The potato samosa was the perfect crisp, and the potato and peas were so delicious with the perfect amount of spice! The spice gives it a good kick at the end- 5/5 The chickpeas were flavorful and tasted like what you'd get at a restaurant- 5/5 The Mac and cheese had bigger pasta but a lot of cheese. It is definitely made in house and so delicious- 5/5 The Brussel sprouts were just the perfect amount of saltiness and crunch from the grill. Every bite was perfect! - 5/5 The only thing I wouldn't recommend purchasing was their Jerk Chicken. The meat was very dry and although the flavor was there, it wasn't something I'd buy again. The chicken was very different than the chicken they used for the chicken masala - 2/5 Overall, a great dinner to feed two people! The price is steep though, I got two boxes of food for about $40... so I guess I should've eaten at the seafood spot there instead, but the quality of food, if you choose correctly may be worth the steep pricing. I'd say if you're looking for a quick fill for GOOD INDIAN FOOD, def consider coming to the hot foods at Whole Foods!“

“What a cozy little hidden place. Glad thar we found it just happened to walk by. All were very cheap and all bakeries that we bought were good especially their croissants. They just melt in your mouth. They were buttery and so soft, just the way we like it.“

“The assistant manager really made my visit so special. They don't offer the warm grain bowls anymore, which upset me because those were my favorite. But she recommended the Mediterranean chicken salad. I got mine without chicken and it was delicious. She was so nice and she even wished me a happy birthday!! I will definitely be coming back!!“

“I said I would go back b/c liking sweet treats can really be a matter of taste (too sweet, too chewy, too hard... blah, blah, blah). Welp, we had 6 cupcakes and boy were they DEVINE! You all know I'm not good with remembering flavors. I know we had red velvet, yellow cake, and a chocolate with brownie on top... soooo good and soooo fresh! Like super fresh!“

Ashbank Farm Bakery •
11460 John Marshall Hwy, Markham

“This review is for Ashbank Farm locally produced donuts re-sold to orchards and local businesses from the SR-66 road stretch of Marshall-Markham-Linden, VA. These items are fresh daily on the weekends in the Fall season 2019 and sold in 6-pack plastic (crush-proof) containers for around $6.00 per 1/2 dozen. "Shenandoah Apple Cider Donuts" 15-oz. Very good quality item! Dryer (non greasy) quality, medium sprinkle of sugar-cinnamon, and perfectly formed in each package we have bought! Very flavorful and completely worth it if you get a choice of item at the seller location. Recommended! (*****) as good as it gets.“
