“The cheesesteak I had was good. Tasted like it had quality ingredients, was well put together, flavorful. The pizza was alright if I had a complaint it was a bit more floppy, less crisp than I'd prefer but that's subjective and preference based, flavor wise I thought it was fine.

I ordered online and the service was quick and friendly when I arrived for pickup. Solid local pizza place.”

“Today was our second visit to Joan +Joe’s. And it did not disappoint. The Midwinter Latte was SO GOOD!! My husband got his hot & I got mine iced & both were delicious. Last week my husband got the Caramel Dream & he liked it as well. Very good quality. And the whipped cream is so yummy too. The staff is so friendly & welcoming. Looking forward to many trips in the future”

“Was in Shepherdstown with a group of friends and we ate here TWICE in one weekend. Great variety to meet everyone's needs (Vegetarian, GF, vegan, meat-eaters alike). The homemade soups were fantastic, salads amazing, sandwiches substantive. Will return next time we are in town!”

“10/10 recommend A Lot O’ Gelato! The owner is so kind and has some of the best flavors ever!!! The other week I told her I was coming the next day to get another pint of the Island Coconut Gelato (my favorite) and she noticed she was getting low on it and didn’t want to risk getting busy and not having enough so she made my pint and put it in the back for me so it was already ready when I came in to get it!!! Literally best customer service ever!!!”

“Excellent & unique flavors offered each month. The Expresso Milkshake if a must try with any of the coffee flavored ice creams. The flight is a good start as it’s just enough to try flavors with 4 mini scoops for families and/or a date or friend. We’ve been fans since the beginning and if you like love poured into a homemade product this is your time to try it out. Enjoy!”

“Visiting family and this was a welcomed surprise for Mexican restaurant options. We ordered the Sopes with chicken, quesadilla, tacos, chips and queso, it was fantastic! The food was on par with some of the taquerias in California I have tried. We will definitely be back. Clean and colorful restaurant with very friendly and helpful staff.”

“Came to Burnt Bean Coffee Co. for the first time this morning with my fiancé! I got a hot dirty chai & he ordered an iced mocha latte. Both drinks were DELICIOUS. The barista was so kind and welcoming. She explained their spring menu to us and filled us in on the rewards program. I can’t wait to come back!”

“Went there for the first time today; the coffee is delicious!!!! Blueberry muffin was rather large so I took my time eating it. I love how friendly the place is and feels. I’m hoping to learn about volunteer opportunities at some point. I highly recommend it and I will definitely be back.”
