Abolitionist Ale Works Reviews
The Fig and Pig Pizza is mind blowing good! The beers are unique and tasty. Definitely worth checking out!
Went to see a band play live, but really enjoyed the beers. Download the ParkMobile app in advance, all the street parking is metered.
Excellent local brewery. Happened to find Abolitionist while visiting Harper's Ferry. The beers were excellent and the service was top notch. The personal pizzas were delicious as well. Highly recommend a stop if you enjoy trying local craft beers.

Abolitionist Ale Works is a popular brewery in town, offering a larger space inside than expected. The friendly staff serve a variety of good beer styles, including the Washington Street Wheat and Abolitionist Ale, along with sour beers like Tootsie Hop sours and a highly praised pickle sour. They have a great selection of beers at reasonable prices, with a Happy Hour from 3-6 on Wednesday and Thursday where all beers are just $5. Visitors can enjoy seating outside with fast and friendly service. The brewery also features some fun table games to pass the time. Food options include personal pizzas, such as a tasty white pizza, flavorful pork BBQ and bacon, as well as pretzels and the Rancher sandwich. The place is a good spot for a nice lunch or dinner with good beer and awesome pizza. Guests appreciate the friendly atmosphere, though some have noted issues with service at the bar. Overall, Abolitionist Ale Works is highly recommended for a visit due to its great brews, tasty food, and the charming downtown location.
