Joan + Joe Coffee

Definitely recommend this place! Friendly staff, reasonable prices, quick service and delicious coffee!

Nice little coffee shop at a converted house off Rt 115 in Charles Town, WV. Not far from the intersection with Rt 340. Joan + Joe coffee is a quaint little place with very friendly staff and great flavored coffee. My cappuccino was well made and they even give you a chocolate covered espresso bean on top. Wife menu, with sandwiches as well. There is plenty of parking in the rear. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area.

First time there didn't like the call feed much. I ordered a hot coffee or justscreen and I've been drinking coffee for 50 years. And I know good coffee when I taste it. But they're regular coffee there. It tastes like water and cream. And I didn't taste any coffee flavor really at all in the coffee. And I like the flavor of coffee but they have all the other types of coffee. You can think of I don't drink that. I'm sure they're good but I can't speak on the other brands and flavors that they carry there, but their regular coffee plain old coffee, just water down cream, that's all I can say. I was a guy who would recommend getting an expresso instead of regular coffee.
Cause there's no flavor.
And a regular coffee.

I came because of 5 stars but also skeptical because with 179 reviews, what’s the chance of 5 stars?.. I wanted to like this place. My order: decaf flat white with almond milk and a warmed up blueberry muffin.

My drink was unfortunately watery, barely taste any espresso and maybe 2 oz of liquid at most.

Then my muffin was cold on the inside, like it had not fully defrosted. I had asked for it to be warmed up.

The staff were kind but it’s unfortunate experience.

Undoubtedly the best croissant my wife and I have ever had. Perfect flake, buttery flavor, and good chew. We opted for an Iced Joan and a banana mocha drink which were both exceptional, not too much sweetness or bitterness. The service was also impeccable, quick and friendly. 11/10 would recommend for any avid coffee enjoyer or pastry enthusiasts. (Side note: I think the whipped cream is homemade which is amazing!)

Ordered online my drink is a pain to make so I like to give them time. It's always ready when I arrive and convenient.the foodand drink is wonderful staff always pleasant

We are roadtripping and decided to find a local coffee shop so we swung into Joan & Jo. Coffee was delicious and let’s not forget how amazing that cheese danish was . all the girls that were working were so sweet!This coffee shop is a true gem! swing by!

The staff were super friendly and got our drinks out quick. We loved our coffees and would definitely recommend!!

It’s easy to miss, just watch out the sign. No tables (didn’t check backyard), just grab n go. Staff were friendly and the kitchen looked neat.
