The food was fine but the decor was slightly terrifying and seemed a bit pretentious. Milk on the menu was listed as moo juice and chocolate milk was listed as brown moo juice... also there were many cobwebs.

My husband and I travel at least once a year from Baltimore just to eat here. I can't see anyone giving this place anything less than a 5 star rating. From it's make yourself at home atmosphere to family frendly staff you can't get better then this. The food is truly home made no shortcuts here. At Christmas we make it a point to go the decorations are beautiful.

This is my favorite place to go. I have been going here for years. I have never not once had a bad experience here with the food or staff. Most of my special occasions like birthdays are here. I have introduced my family and friends to this place. Miss Peggy and Miss Sue are lovely ladies. I hope you try this place for yourself and not go on negative reviews. I will really miss this place when tge new road goes through. P.S. taking a new friend here this week before she leaves the country. I know she will love it.

Some folks don't do buffet style restaurant but this place isn't like others. They pay attention to every detail. Everything is homemade. Numerous types of homemade soups. Probably a dozen different deserts to choose from. Every employee is welcoming and pleasant. Only negative aspect is that they aren't closer to home. Well worth the trip.

Johns was one of the best local restaurants around, will surely miss them... My family went there for years. We had the best of times. So many of our friends met regularly there for lunch and dinner. They were and are always the best! Thank you for your years of wonderful service.

Very bad food. My chicken was all fat & no lean meat. My Husband's Hamburger wasn't done. His fries tasted reheated & not fresh. I would not recommend this place. I thought the Server said they would give me a discounted price. However, when we went to pay, it was full price. We will not go back.

I go there often. Foods pretty good but had to ask for coffee 3 times. Shouldn't have to ask for coffee 3 times. Maybe they should go to self serve coffee?

Fascinating ambience. Very good food. Service a little slow but friendly.

Love John's family restaurant. It's peaceful. We can hear each other talk. The food is delicious.

I'm just neutral on the whole place- the service, the food, the atmosphere/decor, prices... Been here only twice (breakfast and dinner) and while I have no complaints, there's also nothing to rave about either. Service has been good (not horrible, not great) and the food has been good. (Again, not horrible but not great) I felt like our breakfast wasn't worth the price but I felt our dinner was... ‍♀️

Beautiful decor, Americana, Christmas and America! Broad selection of foods including steak and seafood. Expensive - comparable to city prices.

I go to this restaurant quite a bit! This is the best place to dine. I visit this spot many times. The cooking is excellent, the team is helpful and the payment is fair. I like going in this place to have a decent lunch.

This place has a very Angelic atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and courteous. The food is very tasty and great prices. I am definitely calling this place a regular stop for me. Thank You !!
