We stopped in to get a late lunch/early dinner, the diner is named "mountain view", but we couldn't see any mountains. There was a strange odor, not sure if it was mildew or sewage. The food was okay, we ordered 2 hamburger with fries meals, only 1 was made and it sat in the pickup widow while waiting for the other one. Don't think we will be returning.
The BLT is good. Just the right amount of bacon. The home made potato chips were delicious. My husband got the cod and he liked it. It would have gotten a better review but the place is very dated and dirty. Flies flying around us while trying to eat is gross. They need to consider closing early on slow days and put some elbow grease into it and get the fryer grease off of the walls, railings and floors. It could also do for a fresh paint job.
Our waitress did the best she could but they must be lacking in staff. Took forever for someone to come get our drink order and then food came out sporadically. Husband said there was no meat on the open faced Rueben and it had no flavor.
