People were so nice and helpful. I got Blackened chicken due to my diet. It was amazing. I will definitely order it again. Thank you to the Popeyes staff.

The chicken was dry, is the second time I have this problem in this location

Chicken was dry and looked at least a day old. I ordered the spicy, it had no taste

Food is good, but I just brought home my 10 piece meal and it only has 2 breasts and 8 wings; not what I consider a family meal.

On Friday night 5/9/25 just before 10pm (the store doesn’t close until 11pm), I ordered a shrimp meal that was supposed to consist of 1/4 lb of popcorn shrimp, 2 chicken tenders, 2 sm sides (mashed potatoes/gravy and red beans and rice) a medium drink with a biscuit. My bill was nearly $18. The shrimp container was 95% of crunchy pieces, and I didn’t even get an equivalent of 3 shrimp, and the red beans and rice were not even a normal serving. I had to order at the pick up window, and within a minute or two, just long enough to pay for my meal a box was given to me. Which means Nothing was freshly cooked. In questioning the male at the window about my order he told me the restaurant was closing soon, so they couldn’t accommodate any of my requests due to their prep work. What? I have worked in the food service industry for years, and would have never served this to a customer. Regardless!
But on a positive note I did reach out to a manager on the following Monday, and he asked for my name so he could put my name down to come in and receive another meal. J

Love the chicken sandwich.

Had a hair in my food. The blonde working with the food has her hair down over her shoulders. Probably happens all the time. She should have it up or with a hairnet

Ordered through the drive through and my order did not have the sauces I asked for and it seemed like the worker hated working there. Almost tossed my bag to me in the window. Wouldn't come back to this location

This Popeyes in Charles Town West Va is absolutely horrible! To many times they get the order wrong! Today my wife went there. She checked the order in the parking lot. She was missing a sandwich, pickle fries and they even got the order wrong for the pickle wings. 1 was burn't pickle wings and she ordered 2. The other was Barbecue soaked in grease! This has happened here to many times. If you go there and get anything check order at window. My wife checked her order at parking lot but I would never do that because I want them to see what is missing. Now I feel sick after eating their crap!

First time customer. Service was good and quick. I ordered online and food was ready when I arrived. Chicken was fresh and hot. I will order again online from this place.

Ordered a DoorDash from Popeyes for their new boneless Honey BBQ nuggets, a plain chicken sandwich, and two drinks—spent $40 expecting a decent meal. What I got? A box of plain, bone-in wings with no sauce and a “chicken sandwich” that was literally two pieces of bread with a bone-in wing thrown between them. How does this even happen? It’s like whoever made this order didn’t even try.

People work hard for their money, and when we spend it on food, we expect to get what we actually ordered—especially when it’s for our kids. Toddlers don’t eat bone-in wings, yet that’s what was thrown in instead of actual nuggets and sandwiches. It’s beyond frustrating to see such a lack of care. If you can’t take the time to read a receipt and make a meal correctly, maybe working in food service isn’t for you.

I’m really tired of wasting $40 on what’s supposed to be quality food, only to receive a joke of a meal. Do better. People are paying for a service—respect that.

Is Popeye's Chicken has got the best people behind the counter I could not recommend it highly enough. The manager John it's very helpful and very personable. All of the staff there make the experience enjoyable. John and the other young ladies who take care of you at the front register are quick and efficient in everything that they do. Thank you John for being so helpful.
