Diners should be aware that an a la carte meal is not an actual option, regardless of what you might see online. That was our only real issue, since one of our group would have preferred not to get the tasting menu. Once we reluctantly came to terms with that restriction, we had zero complaints about the meal as it was truly delicious. We have spent $300 - $500 on fine dining to celebrate 38 prior wedding anniversaries, and have never been asked to provide credit card information just to make a reservation. The service itself was fine, but we spent a bit of down time between courses. There were more tables inside of the restaurant than there were parking spaces. The food was excellent, however.
I highly recommend the Hillbrook Inn's special four-course dinner with wine pairing! Each course was delicious, and the chef included special 'extras' between a couple of the courses. Everything was amazing and you could tell the chef put a lot of care into the preparation. All of the food is locally sourced and so fresh.
