I have never had a bad experience at Black Sheep so today completely shocked me. My friend and I decided to meet this afternoon for brunch. I was waiting at the host stand to be seated and the guy walked up without saying a word. I greeted him and he still just stared back at me until I said I needed a table for 2. My friend was running behind so I just said I’d have a glass of water until she arrived. He came back to the table a total of 4 times between seating me and her arrival to rush me to order something. After bringing our food, which he shoved in our faces instead of sitting on the table, he never once checked on us to see if we needed another drink, napkins, if were enjoying our meals—NOTHING. The next time he came to the table he just said, “So you guys want the check?” We were so uncomfortable with the whole experience that we agreed to the check at that time (not to mention him throwing a beer menu at our table as he walked by to seat another party). After charging our cards he dropped the slips off without a word.

Every other server I’ve ever interacted with here has been nothing but nice. I’m at a total loss for whatever happened today. I will never return for brunch and I’m unsure if I’ll return for lunch/dinner in the future. Our meals were good but not good enough to deal with this kind of behavior again.

Early lunch twice. Service was quick and food good. Music loud making conversation a little difficult. I’m from out of town but easy to find and street parking just across road. Would return when back in Charleston.

Black sheep burritos and brews is by far one of the best places to eat in all of West Virginia! The burritos were amazing and they had very large portions. We ordered the tuna burrito, unaware that it was raw but the grilled steak was the best! The service of the staff was awesome, coming around from time to time asking if we needed anything. There was not many people in the restaurant at the time, so the atmosphere was in between quiet and moderate noise level. The lady who served us was very kind and adjusted to our conveniences. Will definitely go here again in the future!

This is not Chipotle or Hot Head Burrito. Nice sit down restaurant with a large selection of food. They have around 14 specialized burritos and just as many tacos to try. Would stop again if I'm in the area.

Absolutely stellar service, food, and beers. The bartender was an awesome friendly guy, and the workers all seemed upbeat. Great place, great vibes. I live about an hour away, but cant wait to come back through!

Great burgers & fries, burrito had too much greens and not enough chicken, quesadilla was tasty but no condiments (luckily we had gauc left over), salsa delicious. Good selection of beer. Not enough chips served with 3 dips appetizer (cheese, salsa and guac) and seats weren't comfy.

I had the seared tuna tacos. They were cooked perfectly. The tuna melted in your mouth. The portions were generous and they didn’t scrimp on the ingredients. They also have a selection of craft beers. The waiter was attentive and courteous.

I recommend this restaurant.

Black Sheep Burritos and Brews offers a great lunch experience with fast service and bold flavors. We were seated right away with no wait on a Friday afternoon, though the place started picking up as we ate. I had the Chorizo Stack, which was served hot and delivered powerful, savory flavors—though it was a bit salty for my liking. My friend enjoyed the Thai Shrimp Taco and Chipotle Pork Taco. We also shared the queso and chips. The queso was thick and the chips seemed like they weren’t made fresh, but they were still tasty. Fries were flavorful, though quite salty and left my mouth feeling a little raw. Service was friendly and prompt but not over the top. Overall, a solid spot for lunch if you like your food bold and salty.

The waitress was rude didn’t like his job wasn’t consistent and the food was disgustingly gross and the Bloody Mary was even grosser I will never go there again and expensive as all get out and had to use the bathroom after it was two burritos 16 a piece and chips 4 and the Bloody Mary 9 dollars worst place ever
