We got the Chicken Parm and the Filet special. Bothe were excellent. Also had delicious coffee and banana creme desert which were great. Waiter was very good.
Chicken sandwich with grilled asparagus was delicious! Partner's burger and truffle tator tots were equally good. Staff was friendly and the vibe was somewhere between good “bar atmosphere” and “casual dining”. Would like to have tried some of their larger dinner entrees but was only looking for a “quick bite”.
Awesome experience as always, good food, great service couldn't ask for anything else!
The ambience was nice. The barrel table was cool. The fries were to die for, everything else was sub par. Our waiter was l kind and attentive but he way over promised on food taste and quality.
We were a party of 12 and our service was great. The server was attentive and the food was delicious.
I had a really good time. The food was good and the staff was really nice. I would definitely come back again.
Early table on a weeknight, so the restaurant was quiet and not at all crowded. Enjoyed a nice glass of Pinot and a wedge salad with grilled chicken. Everyone in my party agreed that our server, John, did a fabulous job.
Went to Bricks and Barrels on my birthday the atmosphere in the restaurant was very good and friendly. Our waiter came and introduced himself but didn’t actually stop and was always on the move never stopping to talk to us. We ordered a bone in rib eye ($ 62.00) and a filet ($ 41.00) both steaks were over cooked and burnt. Mentioned it to the waiter and there was no feeling or response from him. Paid $ 195.00 and left. I will be finding another restaurant for any further special occasions I have.
Bricks and Barrels is what would happen if you described a nice restaurant to someone who's never been to a nice restaurant before. The food does not live up to the name, the exposed brick, or what you're paying for it. (The restaurant looks good until you reach its under-sized restroom where the door swings open tightly on the heels of both a single toilet and single urinal). The charcuterie board was amateurish and contained no ingredient you couldn't have grabbed up on a causal Walmart run, including a dab of grape jelly from the jar. Beet salad was forgotten by wait staff but then brought as warm beets from a can--seemingly most of a can. Our waitress was really phoning it in and making mistakes at each course level. The cooks had no clue what doneness level made a steak medium. They sent my $60 steak to my table initially completely well done without a single trace of pink, then my date waited while my steak came back to our table far too rare twice (a deep red, rather than pink). I couldn't probably drown my sorrows in a cocktail that was just ok. The crème brûlée was actually good--that and the barrel decor were the best parts of the experience. The manager did comp $50 from our ticket for the steak snafu, but with the meal still totaling $200 for my girlfriend and me--I couldn't help but think there would have been better options for our money, including just grabbing steaks at Aldi and cooking at home.
The girlfriend and I stopped here to eat and were surely not disappointed. The food was impeccable. The garlic and rosemary lamb came with green beans, mashed potatoes, and a blueberry red wine reduction sauce on the side. The meal was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. I was very impressed. The NY strip came with the same sides as the lamb, but the steak was also full of so much flavor. It was cooked perfectly and was very tender. I’d have to say one of the best steaks I’ve tasted. The desserts were on a different level. The tiramisu had to be one of the best you could have. I truly can’t think of a bad thing to say about my experience. I definitely would recommend to anyone who doesn’t mind to spend $30-$60 per person. It’s also nice to add that the atmosphere is one like no other. The style of the dining room is unique in the best way possible.

Loved the private table rounded like a barrel. Our waiter was friendly, and the service was fantastic. Best blackened salmon ever. Will definitely go back the next time we visit Charleston, WV,.

We were in Charleston on vacation. We enjoyed the restaurant. We ordered 2 trout specials. The meal and service was excellent. We found them online and decided to give them a try. It was during the week and were able to get in without a reservation. The cost of the meals was more than reasonable. We highly recommend Bricks and Barrels.
Parking: We aren't familiar with the area So I don't know what other parking options are available. We found a spot in the free parking by the restaurant.
Atmosphere and service was great. We are passing through and it was easy access from 64E. Unfortunately we weren’t all that hungry but the fried green tomato napoleon appetizer was unique and tasty. Only wished we lived closer to try some of the main dishes. The Blueberry Basil Bliss drink was great as well.

Arrived with no reservation and told would be 40 minutes. No problem that was expected. Order d drinks and calamari at the bar. Calamari was heavily breaded but worst overcooked and rubbery. Didn’t let that bother us. We were seated around 7:10. Waiter took a drink order immediately. When he returned in about 5 minutes with drinks we gave our food order. Twenty minutes later he came by and asked if I wanted anything but didn’t ask my girlfriend. Ten minutes later I saw him and asked him to ask if she would like something. At 7:50 her Ceasar salad came out that’s 35 minutes after we ordered. When the food finally arrived another 20 minutes I handed him my card, asked to have it boxed, and to have the manager come out. He insisted on comping the food which I finally let him do.
By the way the men’s room had water standing in it. As well as the faucet was barely attached to the sink and barely worked.
The pork chop I ate in my hotel room was very good but not good enough to ever return. We were afraid to order seafood after the calamari.
Parking: Maybe 20 spaces that are tight.
