My son and I stopped in there for lunch to try it out. Had great service, and the food was really good. Had a cheesesteak and we had two different wings to try. Great experience and will be back.

Charley's food is quality, but they get my order wrong constantly. Today I ordered a Chicken Philly, no mayo add buffalo. What I got was chicken, cheese and buffalo sauce. No lettuce, no tomato, no grilled peppers, no grilled onions. Guys. Not cool at all. It's probably been 4 times they've messed up my order on the drive thru. Obviously some communication breakdown happening that needs fixed.

Ordered two cheesesteaks to go, while waiting for our order the manager brought us two free lemonades. They were delicious. Cheesesteaks and fries were good too for the price.

I made a trip to kanawha City this evening and was surprised to see a stand alone Charley's Cheesesteak restaurant that's located close to Lowe's.
The drive thru was fairly busy so I went inside to eat, the food was very good and even though they were very busy, it didn't take long to get my food.

I really like this place a lot. They make really good sandwiches, they don't skimp on the ingredients either. The fries are always great but can get a little soggy if you're eating to-go. I also wish they'd shake the Cajun fries more to get a better coating but that's not enough to lower my score. This place makes one of the best sandwiches for itsy price around.

Food was good but wings are very small and for 2 regular size cheese steaks and 10 wings was over $30 dollars. We didn't get meals only the medium subs and 10 wings. And for that price for the little bit of food we got was kinda crazy. V Mary has way bigger wings and better tasting. But it was still good just way expensive for so little food. We went through the drive thru and people were nice but definitely not enough food for the prices.

We ordered 2 large subs as the combo and wings. The cheesesteaks were bland and the bread just crumbled apart. I was told it's way better than penn station, but that's far from true. The store wasn't clean, all tables dirty, floors were scattered with trash and such. One of the cold even came out while we were eating and pushing trash down with no gloves as well as picking a fork up from the ground and putting it back with the others to be chosen.

Just not my cup of tea, freshly open or not.

So I travel around the US for work and have a goal to try the wings in every city/town i travel to and Charley's is so far in my top favorite wing restaurant in the east coast. For was great and would definitely eat here again!!!
