I don’t normally leave reviews but this place deserves the love. Perfect Pulled Pork, tasty chicken, excellent brisket and those sidewinder fries are tasty.

Make sure to try their home made BBQ sauce on EVERYTHING.

Stopped in for dinner. Menue was limited due to a recent power outage. No fried food could be cooked. Not their fault. Had brisket and ribs. Very good, tender, and seasoned just right. Did not like the coleslaw. Potato salad was good, a bit too much mustard, but good none the less.

I tried this place back in July. Sorry for just getting around to my review. I'm glad i didn't go off of the other reviews and tried them for myself. Everything was amazing. Im a southern girl and know good food. I think the reviews are flawed, but if you're ever in the Charlestown downtown area, this page is a hidden gym. The food again was amazing!!! The customer service was superb and the music was great also. Don't pass this place up! Trust me, if you want good food, give them a try.

I enjoyed the pulled pork, and the chicken wings. My ribs were a bit tough and luke warm. They were out of brisket so I couldn’t experience that unfortunately

Fish was bland as ever...order wasnt correct but bagged it up anyways...like who cares that you paid for a incorrect order.

I arrived around 12:30 pm, excited for brisket and collard greens. Neither of which were available. Disappointing. I went with chicken breast, which I found rubbery. Be sure to call ahead.

Waitress under age and couldn't serve beer. Nobody of age to serve beer. Water tastes like chlorine so couldn't drink water. I don't drink pop or sweet tea. Took 30 minutes for fried fish that had no meat. Silverware dirty as bathrooms. Asked for clean silverware and only received 2 of 3 that were clean. Bathrooms had not been cleaned in years. Board of Health needs to shut this hole down.

Amazing food, best brisket in Charleston.

Came here a saturday evning at 6.30. The menu was reduced because they were out of a lot of the sides and some meats. The waitress did a terrible job remembering our orders. The food came to the table randomly. With the first to be served having ginished his meal before the last got his.

Althoug bad service. Food was good.
I ate 2 meats (rib&pulled pork) with two sides(green beans&sweet potato casserole)

Restaurant was locked at 2pm on a Saturday, with no sign in the window indicating when they would return, and no notice of changed hours on their website. Will happily give a proper rating whenever I may be able to dine here, but for now it's one star in lieu of zero stars.
