The waitress was really nice but the people in the restaurant were loud and obnoxious near us the entire time. Food was decent but not great. The chicken was dry and the butter pecan syrup tasted very chemical. My daughter loved the chocolate pancakes so we won there. I'd skip this place for a cracker barrel next time in Charleston.

Went in to eat breakfast before a appointment ordered our drinks received out drinks at an average time and put our order in then waited over and hour and still no food had to leave for our appointment and didnt get to eat first
Portions are small. Ordered the split decision. Couldn't believe it didn't come with hash browns. Big open spot on my plate where they should of been. $17 with a coffee UNREAL! I left hungry. Won't be back.

I visited the IHOP on 46 Rhl South Charleston on Monday October 31st around 8:15 am. As I was waiting for my meal a roach ran across my table. I killed it and left it in the napkin. When the waitress came, I told her about. She said they have a way of getting in the restaurant. This is a number one NO NO! I did not ask to speak to the management, nor ask for a discount on my food. I wanted to see how my waitress would handle this matter. While she was friendly and apologized, I felt someone from management should have come to my table and made acknowledgment of this. They did not! Sad to say, when I entered the establishment, I was the first one to say a greeting to my host. While an older gentleman, he just let out a grunt. The food was hot and delicious, and the waitress friendly, outside of that, this morning was a major disappointment. This was IHOPE #3054 I am the owner of a business and perhaps they misjudged me. But regardless, when older folks fail to show proper courtesy and management does not give proper attention to the cleanliness of their establishment, this certainly puts a black mark on the IHOPE chains.

How can u go wrong for breakfast.? Waitress seemed a little new and awkward which was fine with us..she tried the best she could. The food and coffee were good. My poached eggs were overdone...but I got extra hollandaise sauce which helped. Overall IHop in Charleston WV was as expected from any location of theirs. They should get rid of any items on the menu that have avocado. I have yet to go to an IHop that actually has them in stock. They are always out of avocado.
