Me and my boyfriend decided to try Lefty’s Place for dinner last night (01/24/25) after seeking recommendations from my family and friends on Facebook for a place with the best pizza and wings in Morgantown. This place was PACKED, which was the first indication that it served great food, and I wasn’t wrong. Hands down, it was the BEST pizza I’ve had in a long, long time! The ratio of toppings was perfect and they went all the way to the edge, so there was no dough left uncovered. The crust was crunchy but not hard, and each bite was just as good as the first one. We also had the bone-in wings, which were meaty and delicious and the sauces were fantastic! (I ordered the Sweet Heat sauce, and it was perfect for me because I can’t eat anything too spicy anymore). And I have to give a big shoutout to our waitress, Emily — she was awesome! She was very friendly and provided us with the best 5 star service! She didn’t miss a beat when it came to making sure we had everything we needed. My only overall critique is that it’s small inside and got pretty crowded and loud at times, but it was well worth it. We will definitely visit Lefty’s Place again soon! It’s a great place to check out if you haven’t been there yet. 😊

We were passing through Charleston and thought we would visit based on the good reviews. The pizza tasted fine. The lady working at the bar was not friendly in the slightest and the experience felt scammy. She offered us no receipt, and the total she gave felt high for what we ordered. We had to request a receipt. She overcharged us for a beer we didn’t order. When brought to her attention she kinda shrugged. We waited 30 minutes for the pizza

I was craving some good pizza, and this place really hit the spot! I was a bit skeptical because it didn’t have many reviews, but it’s really only because it’s new. Best deep dish I’ve had in years! I got the one with ricotta and it was absolutely amazing. Would highly recommend!

Traveling through WV, I always stop over in Charleston. Now Ive got a go-to pizza and beer joint.
Great price point for a delicious pizza, good beer tap selection (had the Maibock which was ice-cold and refreshing), and overall just a comfortable atmosphere. Sit-down tables, high tops, bar/board/card games tucked into the corner, and no music so everyone was just chatting and having a great time.
Definitely a must-try for visitors to the area!

Lefty’s motto should be “Anything you can do, I can do better!” Hands down, the best pizza in Charleston. Why spend $30 on a large pizza or $60 on two large pizzas that forces everyone to eat the same pizza when you can spend $15 per person and they each get the pie they want, their own personal box of flavortown? It’s the best pizza in Chucktown.
The first time we ordered Lefty’s I was like “4 slices per box? WTH?” Then I realized, if you eat more than two slices in one sitting you will find yourself in a food coma. It’s VERY filling! For each box, you will be able to eat two slices and have two for lunch the next day, which I don’t recommend eating for lunch if you have a desk job, you won’t get much done after lunch!
If you are a visitor to our city and you order anything other than Lefty’s, you’ve denied yourself the best pizza experience you’ll ever have in WV.

I’ve only ever ordered takeout from here so I can’t accurately rate the atmosphere but this is probably the BEST pizza Charleston has to offer! We love ordering from here- they never disappoint. Try the Betty White! ?
