Tried here couple of times. “Most” of the items would taste nice usually. Malai kofta, Gobi Manchuria, Chilli chicken are good. Can do better on kebabs and Indo Chinese fried rice and noodles.

One of the worst Biriyani I ate in my life time. They could have rejected the order rather than delivering a worst food on earth.

Ridiculous- no commitment or care for customers or the money they get for the food.

If there were negative stars available on the review I’d give one for them.

Better to avoid this place!

This place is great! The Naan had a buttery flavor, and was perfectly prepared.I had Chicken Krahi at a spice level of medium, which was perfect. I'll have to try HOT next time! Service was fast a courteous as well.

I love this place. It has the best Chicken tikka masala! And the garlic nan is a must! It’s usually quite inside and not over crowded if you wanna eat in the restaurant. Good for take out too. Used to give you loads of rice, but not anymore. Now they only give half the rice they used to. Kinda disappointed, I understand with today’s economy, but this place is not cheap and now they are cutting corners. You’re looking to spend a little over $100 to feed four people and not really have any leftovers. Not including drinks.

Great variety of indian dishes and excellent flavor. However, we ordered medium heat 🥵 it was hot but so good that we couldn't stop eating. A great choice for dinner this July 4th

Meant to order from the Huntington location but somehow the order was sent to the Charleston location. I realized this within seconds and called to see if we could cancel the order. I spoke to the manager who confirmed it’s not a problem and that he could cancel the order since it had been placed just a minute prior. I thanked him and assumed it was taken care of and placed the order to the Huntington location. A week later there’s still the $68.21 charge on my card as he didn’t refund the order even though he cancelled it. Very dishonest business practice. I’m currently disputing it through my bank now. Beware of this deceptive business practice. I’ve been a customer of both nawab branches for over a decade (they even catered my wedding) but this was such a bad experience that I will never give my business to either location again.

I went to Nawab only because my daughter with special needs, insisted on going there. After getting seated, she had a Q on menu item, so I asked this Somalian guy in ball cap, and surprisingly he was angry, and scolded me saying you are Indian, you should know, you have been here before and why are you asking. So, I mentioned that it was a long time ago and I don’t remember it, at which he retorted “I know you, I remember you, you gave us a bad review, etc. etc”. I was shocked and had no recollection and I should have walked away right then, but anyways for my daughters sake I just apologized and placed our order.

We ordered the dinner for 2. Although the food looked great, and we started eating, I noticed my daughter was not eating, so I gradually added raita, till I had poured the whole container of raita in her rice and palak paneer, however, she kept on drinking the mango lassi rather than eat. Eventually, found out, she could not eat it because it was extremely spicy hot and we had made sure to order mild. The lady server as well as the ball cap Somalian, was nice enough to offer the extra raita, which we took, hoping she will eat at the hotel later at night. I am glad she did not eat, because, for the next 4 days, I had heartburns, and still having heartburns, as the food was extremely hot n spicy, the type you only realize sometime later after eating when the heartburn starts. BTW I eat Indian food all the time so normal spicy does not bother me, so this was a something different.

No one deserves to be treated with hostility or served food that could result in adverse health consequence. My hope is that this was purely accidental, and without any malicious intent. I’ve chosen to forgive them and move on. I’m only sharing this experience so that many other trusting visitors, especially those with dietary sensitivities or medical concerns, can be cautious and are not caught by an unpleasant surprise or land up in hospital.

We were in town for a concert and longing for a good Indian meal. Nawab was within walking distance of our hotel so we gave it a try. It’s located in its own building with parking. Service was excellent and the food was fabulous!!
