So I called this afternoon to make a reservation and was told, we are sorry our reservations are full but feel free to come to our lounge on a first come, first serve basis. We were visiting for the weekend and were looking for somewhere nice to go. It was about 7:30 pm when we arrived. I would say the place was only 30% occupied. We sat at the bar which only had 3 other people. The bartender was walking back to the kitchen and a server came to stand behind the bar. When the bartender returned, he busied himself for a few minutes, yet we still had not been greeted. He finally acknowledged us and asked if we would be getting drinks or having dinner. We said we would like to eat. His reply was, " Chef says he only has enough food for the reservations." OK, shock was my first reaction. I wanted to ask if the chef was clairvoyant and knew what food his reservations would be ordering. It was not a price fix menu. Seemed a bit sketchy to me. My husband was willing to stay for a drink but I was totally disappointed and thought we should just go. We left. Not sure how this place usually runs, many reviews were good, it gets a lot of accolades. Needless to say our experience was abysmal.

The service was amazing and the food was even better. We loved our food it was the best food I've ever had. I would definitely recommend going to this restaurant. It's pricey but the food is definitely worth the price in my opinion. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant again.
Parking: All they had was paid street parking so it's difficult to find parking.

So very happy that we found Noah's! It's the restaurant downtown Charleston deserves. Everything about the evening was outstanding from service, ambiance, and most importantly the food.
If I've ever had more perfectly prepared halibut I can't recall it. Cooked perfectly and served with a wonderful sauce.
Likewise the pork was perfectly prepared and delicious. The potatoes dauphin were also a special and unexpected treat. This is our new go -to in Charleston!

The food is delicious and presentation enticing, professional and lovely. The staff are very friendly, professional and engaging with the patrons. The menu isn’t large but there is something that will delight anyone’s tastes. The atmosphere is soft and inviting. It’s a hidden gem. One of my favorite restaurants in Charleston.

The lamb, prepared with impeccable skill and seasoned to perfection, is a true testament to the chef's culinary prowess. Each succulent bite is bursting with flavor, tender and juicy, leaving diners craving more with every mouthful. Accompanied by expertly paired sides and sauces, the lamb dinner at Noah's is a symphony of taste that delights the senses.Equally impressive is the flounder dinner, a seafood lover's dream come true. Fresh, delicate flounder fillets are expertly cooked to tender perfection, their natural sweetness shining through with every forkful. Complemented by a harmonious blend of complementary flavors and textures, this dish is a testament to Noah's commitment to sourcing the finest ingredients and treating them with the utmost respect.Of course, no visit to Noah's would be complete without a mention of the impeccable service. Behind the bar, Hutch reigns supreme, effortlessly crafting cocktails with precision and flair. His warm demeanor and expert knowledge elevate the dining experience, ensuring that every guest feels welcome and well taken care of.

We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary and Zach Ryan made our visit special. Zach even returned a long lost golf ball.

My wife and I came down from Ohio and we had an amazing experience. We had the privilege of talking to Hutch, the bartender, and had the best crab cakes I've ever had in my life. We will be back just to have those crab cakes and have a conversation with Hutch. Thanks

We went to Noah's under the assumption we had a reservation and I fortunately the website bumped us to a different date which is no fault to the restaurant! BUT Noah's wife was amazing and was able to seat us at the bar. I can't remember her name but I remember her saying she was Noah's wife but she was so friendly and super helpful and just so sweet! The bartender was great as well and he was very friendly and his service was amazing considering the fact it was Valentine's Day. Now to the food! The food was AMAZING! My husband said that the lamb was the best he has ever had and the steak was very flavorful and cooked to perfection! And the potatoes were PHENOMENAL! I have to say the food we had was right up there with the food we had by Gordon Ramsay at Hell's Kitchen! If you are in the area I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Noah's!!

There is a dining room, party room and a long bar, the latter of which is separated from the dining room. Everyone in the the dining room seemed to know to speak quietly and that contributed to the sophisticated mood. Chef Noah created delightful flavors from the grilled romaine salad to the grilled chicken au jus with dauphinoise potatoes. His parmesan fettuccine with grilled chicken was cooked to perfection achieving the perfect balance of the salty notes from the Parmesan cheese and the buttery cream. Unfortunately, we didn't have time for dessert but the images from other reviewers look wonderful. Definitely give this restaurant a try. Next time we are back in Charleston we will definitely be returning to Noah's.
It was my first time there. People told me it was good and they were right.Food: Excellent, everything was great and the portions were large.Service: The service was fast, the waitress came back several times. Great service.Atmosphere: primarily composed of nitrogen (78%) and oxygen (21%). Trace gases like argon, carbon dioxide, and others make up the rest

Food, service, and atmosphere are all excellent. Our party of three enjoyed the French onion soup, bone-in strip steak, the crab encrusted tempura scallops, and the lamb rack with mint pesto. For dessert, we indulged in lemon bars, chocolate lava cake, and peach cobbler.
