Fujiyama was closed so we decided to try this one because it was close and had good reviews. Don’t follow the Google map or address because it’s wrong. It’s actually further down the road by the middle school. Currently, it’s a food truck, but their sign says they’re opening a restaurant in that spot soon.I hope they adjust their recipes before they open. Here’s some feedback for improvements. The sushi has too much rice and not enough fish. Most of the sushi items on the limited menu were deep fried and they were drown in their ‘special sauce’ which is way too sweet. If it’s good sushi, it should stand by itself and not have to be covered up by sauce. I was really craving sushi and this meal was such a disappointment.

I have only ate here twice, 1st time got the spicy sweet potato roll, and a regular spicy California roll And shrimp, steak and chicken hibachi with rice. Second time I got steak and crab hibachi with noodles and one of their signature rolls it has mango in it. Genuinely, I think I would kill someone if they let me eat here for free for a year. I would become part of their mafia to be able to eat their food once a day. I could say so much more about this place, but I’m gonna get back to eating My hibachi.

My food had little to no taste and it was just as pricey as sitting down.

If you are looking for sushi or hibachi style food without breaking your budget, this is where you should go. The food is fantastic at a great price. Moreover, the owners here are wonderful people. I tell all my friends to give this place a shot.

Food is pretty good. My only complaint is the fried rice tastes bland. Ok one more… Don’t serve rangoons in a bag that absorbs their heat & condensation. But otherwise, really good for the price. Very nice people too.

This food truck is easy to find in the Piggy Wiggly parking lot and has been here consistently for more than a year. I ordered the chicken and shrimp habachi combo with fried rice plus a sweet potato roll. The sweet potato roll was served warm and the potatoes were cooked nicely. It had a little crunch from a batter or the nori. There wasn’t any additional sauce added inside or outside that might have enhanced the flavor. It also wasn’t served with wasabi. You might need to request it if you want it.The chicken and shrimp combo was served with habachi vegetables and fried rice. It is enough food for two for $13.50. The proteins were cooked perfectly. The seasoning was just right. Not to salty or sweet with yumyum sauce on the side. The blend of broccoli, zucchini, carrots, and onions was nicely cooked with still some crunch which is how I like it. The fried rice was interesting. It was seasoned liberally with black pepper but under seasoned with soy sauce or teriyaki sauce. That is not a bad thing as I could have always added more soy sauce to taste. It’s just rice. No egg or veg.Give this place a try and save yourself 50% off the cost of any other Japanese restaurant in town.
