Went there for a late lunch Friday afternoon. The restaurant is immaculate, the staff attentive and the food was fresh and delicious.
My partner had a chicken burrito which he gave the thumbs up for, I had two tamales with rice and beans. The tamales were fresh tasting and a nice balance of meat surrounded by mesa meal… the best I’ve had in two states.
The portions are large and we had plent to take home.
We will be back

Our food is always hot, fresh, and fast. We ordered yesterday and had it in about 10 minutes, if that. I see negative reviews about the company but I’ve never had a bad experience here, even when we have a large party to seat and serve. Excellent service, the whole way through.

Food at this establishment has always been great. So no complaints there, but on my recent trip to the new Plaza Maya 2, I gotta just be honest. The staff was kinda rude from being seated throughout the entire experience. I was disappointed in that alone. Going to reconsider coming back here. We just stopped in for drinks and wanted to leave right after being seated. It was all around disappointing from a service perspective.

We used to call this Speedy Mexican (we always go to Kanawha City location) because we would get our food so fast. Its not been so speedy lately (1/2 hr to get our food the past three visits) and I have noticed there are less employees and the food is not the same quality.

Picked up Carnitas dinner to go. I'm from California and we have a lot of great Mexican food - Plaza Maya is very very good. Order was ready on time and prices are reasonable - highly recommended!

We entered we got served immediately. there were complementary chips with Glock guacamole free of charge. The food was served faster. After we placed our order for our main course, it took about five minutes for the food to arrive. The food was very very very, very, very good. The service was also way too excellent for its location. We were not expecting such a wonderful restaurant hidden away in a corner next to Main Street. Sidenote the food is spicy. The prices were also very, very reasonable. For three people, we spent a total of $53 which is extremely cheap.

My husband and I could not say enough good things about this place. It was clean, the people were friendly, and the food was amazing. Their chips and salsa were the best we have ever had. Our server checked in with us often which was so nice. We will definitely come here again.

Another restaurant that is disrespectful of single mature diners.

Excellent dinner, tasty and nice serving size unlike so many restaurants who have cut back on the size. Fajitas, street tacos carnitas and chimichangas
