While dining with some friends, a member of our party questioned an overcharge on their bill at the end of the meal. Instead of management addressing this concern and listening to the customer, my friend was met with hostility, disrespect, and verbal abuse.
The first manager that came over, only cared about boasting how many years he has been a manager there (which were only six years) and he literally YELLED so loudly, that the whole restaurant could hear him saying that she wasn’t going to get something for free. We were all mortified!!!
Let me be clear, every member of our party has college degrees and good paying jobs and no one was asking for anything for free! The overcharge was less than five dollars!!!!
The second manager that came over was a female, and she repeatedly would speak over my friend and would not let her speak. My friend remained calm, cool and collected and politely kept reiterating…May I speak now?
I’ve been in customer service and management for over 20 years and I am absolutely dumbfounded and disgusted by the disrespect that was shown. They lost four customers that night, but more importantly businesses should keep in mind that every customer they lose, can speak to over 50 individuals about their bad experience.

You can tell the owners are greedy, I mean who charged a carry out fee, heck even on doordash with a dash pass subscription they are still charging a delivery fee, give me a break. The food isn’t even that good.

My husband and I stopped in for a drink and to catch the end of a baseball game. The place had a great atmosphere with plenty of large TVs, excellent service, and a comfortable vibe. We only had a drink along with the complimentary chips and dip, which were good, but we’ll definitely be back to sample more of the menu next time!
I’ve never been to this Rocas and was hesitant because of other ones in the area. Went in around 3pm, not too many people. We immediately get seated in the middle of the room after passing the entire restaurant of empty booths. While others were being sat at booths after us. Then I ordered chicken chimichangas that are supposed to come with a guac salad. The waitress asked me if I wanted rice & beans (I thought this was just the extra) but nope if you also get rice they don’t give you the salad. So I was upset over that & she just said it would be an additional charge for her lack of communication and the menu does not say that either. Finally get our food and it was good but for almost $15 for the plate it was disappointing. The rice was bland and the beans were nothing great. I probably won’t visit a Rocas again for a very long time because of the experiences I keep having and the prices aren’t worth it compared to the multiple other choices in the area.
