Great food! Great service! I love supporting locally owned small businesses like this. Had a sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast biscuit. I love their biscuits because they are the lightest and fluffiest you can find. They don't weigh on you. Btw they also have the biggest and best burgers in southern West Virginia!
This is one of the best places in Charleston for meals that remind you of home, I have never tasted anything there that was not spot on. We eat there several times a week and take our customers at times.

The Smokehouse is a classic eatery for Charleston’s west side but the quality of food has diminished over the past few years.My last breakfast was pancakes, bacon and scrambled eggs. Eggs were over cooked, bacon was so over cooked it tasted more like pork rinds and the pancakes were doughy in the middle. I know good short order cooks are hard to find but some quality control has to be done. Makes me sad, this decline in quality.
