I usually have had nothing but great things to say about this bakery, but the cream horns I purchased today literally tasted like dish soap. I don't know if the bowl or the utensils had soap left on them, but my husband said it was bad. Hopefully, it was just a one-time fluke as everything has always been delicious.

I called ahead for their pastry hotdogs.they had them ready as I walked in. I had only ordered them two minutes before! You won't get better pastries anywhere in the Kanawha valley.
Parking: Parking is limited because of their popularity. If they weren't fantastic, there would be plenty of parking.
Wheelchair accessibility: Flat threshold, but no auto doors.

Our first time here. The line was out the door despite the light rain, but we decided to go in anyway. The line moved pretty quick and the staff was very friendly. It was definitely worth the stop. If you stop by, try the hot dog pastries; they are delicious.

Best bakery in the Charleston WV area. The hotdogs are always the best. Creamy filling with the outside pastry being soft and chewy. Very good! Their custard filled donuts are excellent too! Be prepared for the filling to come out the other side of the donut they are so full and very good!
