This place lacks efficiency. Yes it’s busy but I even counted how many cars were in the drive thru to see which one is quicker. Apparently drive thru plus the three new cars that appeared after. Sucks that there isn’t a local coffee shop nearby on this side of the river to give my business to.

One worker in particular was very helpful. I was getting some espresso beans ground for some Cuban coffee and employee knew exactly what was up.

Typical Starbucks location that has the drinks and food that you would find at other locations. Using the app to order does save time, especially during peak times. This location was not too busy during my visit so I just used the drive-thru. The service was fast and friendly and the food and drink were prepared well. Good spot for a drink and a snack.

(Long review) I hate leaving bad reviews but after my experience this morning at this Starbucks it’s warranted. After ordering my venti drink, adding vanilla syrup, sweet cream foam, etc (all at extra cost) I ask for no ice so it’ll be creamy, the barista goes “just so you know it’s our policy that if you remove the ice we cannot fill the cup up”. I’m sure had she not said anything at all, I would have taken my drink with the gap at the top and drove off but the fact that my drink is $9 and she still felt the need to make this comment I in return say I forget you all are so policy driven, (hence why I normally order online or downtime/ south ridge). She then goes “you can leave and order at a different Starbucks”. Now this is becoming unpleasant altogether. I can’t leave bc my coworkers ordered ahead here and I’m picking there’s up too. When I get to the window I let her coworker know the unpleasant comments are unnecessary, I’m paying more than enough money to have to deal with this, especially as someone who orders Starbucks every single day. Tessa, the lady who took my order, comes to the window trying to rush me off (I’m still waiting on part of my order) she goes back and forth about not being rude condescendingly, that she’s just here to work her 8 hours, and leaves with “you can just file a report, my name is Tessa T E S S A, bye”. And walks off… remind you I’m still waiting on my order.. she was so shaken up by the confrontation she was preparing herself for that she couldn’t even think straight. Her co worker apologized, I told her it’s unfortunate people like her work here bc they’re the reason this store is deemed the worst one in Charleston. This location really needs better management and customer service training. If they cannot handle the pressure of a busy coffee shop or how to remain pleasant even when relaying information to customer then they should work in a different industry. Tessa, congratulations you’re willingness to be combative with a customer lead me to actually leaving a review and calling corporate. I’m sure isn’t taken serious or you wouldn’t be telling customers to file reports so freely.
I went through the drive-thru for a coffee and pastry. Although, the line was long, it moved quickly. They were cheerful and polite as well.

my drinks are CONSISTENTLY hit and miss. i get the same thing each time and once a week it’s amazing and then the other times it taste like milk and water with a hint of flavor. i noticed the stickers that are printed half of the letters are missing so idk if it’s because they are guessing or what, but i spend too much money to continue to not say anything about it. because sometimes i don’t have time to wait and ask for a remake .

Today was my birthday and i decided to get the free drink, I always use the app and never had problems with it but today when I was in the drive thru and asked for my drink they said they were not allowed to give it to me which i didn’t understand why and ask me to go to the box, then I parked and try to go to the door thinking they will give me my drink the door was locked, i had to walk to the drive thru and ask for my coffee and still they denied to me the coffee I ordered, they were very rude.

I order at this location frequently and am very disappointed. I had to get a refund for an item I ordered which happens I understand. But to get the refund I had to wait in line and wasn't told I needed my card therefore had to have someone run my card inside the store to me. While this is happening I'm holding up the line and these women behind me were making comments. The workers didn't seem to apologetic of the trouble I had to go through for the refund.

Drinks are always made good here. There was a drink I had been wanting to try so I always get the same thing every time so instead of buying it and possibly not liking and throwing it away they made a small one for me to try!!
