Super nice staff, but if you’re expecting normal bubble tea with fresh ingredients, be forewarned that the milk tea is made with powder and water, and the flavoring is sugar syrups. Boba itself was fine.

Update your store hours. Just drove 20 mins for absolutely no reason. It’s 4:42pm and it says closes at 6pm. Will not be coming back. Extremely hard to find.

My wife and I made our first visit to Tea Spoons in the Carbide Park, in South Charleston. I had an original smash burger deluxe, my wife had the mushroom Swiss smashburger and we picked up the meatball sub for my son. Excellent all around.

I’ve been wanting to try this place out and finally had the opportunity. I had a bad fall and a possible minor concussion that left me with a busted lip, so I didn’t feel like cooking and needed something easy delivered since I couldn’t drive. Upon searching for soups on DoorDash, the ramen popped up and sounded perfect. I had the tonkotsu and mushroom broth ramen with a mango milk tea and boba. The ramen was delicious and exactly the comfort food I needed. I highly recommend this place! I’m looking forward to trying their açaí bowls!
