My grandfather owned a grocery store when I was little. He had a small table and chairs in the back store room between all the boxes and supplies where he and my aunt would eat lunch. Eating in Tricky Fish reminded me of that. That's not really a bad thing for me, personally but probably not what the owners were going for. The counter and dining area desperately needs an update. That said, the food was good. This was my first time here in years. The last time, I didn't care for it. I have to say, the food is much better than it was under the previous owners. The service was friendly but they were certainly understaffed when we were there. One woman was trying to take orders, cash people out, bus tables, and answer phones. She did it all with grace, though.

If you're looking for a very decent Po'Boy, look no further. The sauce on my Shrimp Po'Boy was a little sweet for my taste, but once I spiced it up with one of their wide selection of sauces on the table, I enjoyed it almost as much as the ones I'd get in Mississippi!! Their chips were really good too. I like extra crunch. Also tried the Gouda Cheese bites. They were good and smokey. I plan on going back to try the fish tacos. I've heard good things...

Not great somebody needs to learn what a "po boy" is and how to make one because what I got was a joke. The tacos cost way to much for what you get and they were missing half the sides listed on the menu. Go elsewhere.

Great lunch! Dog friendly deck Taco salad was excellent; good mix of ingredients, queso on top delicious , beef crispy, salsa and guacamole fresh. The catfish sandwich on brioche was delicious. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked. The burger was great; tasty fries and pickle chips superb. Despite being short staffed, the service was great—even providing the dogs with a bowl of ice water.

Won't eat here again. The food was fantastic. When I asked if i could get the drink on the menu "we dont have that" and that was to most but a few on the menu. Service was slow and they didn't have the decency to have have an American flag but had the mental health community flag(lgb++ alphabet community flag)

Stopped for a quick lunch while traveling with 2 dogs. Waitress was awesome. Immediately brought out bowls of ice water for the pups. She recommended the mahi tacos which were outstanding! Service was very fast as we were there right after opening. Will stop here again!

First time ordering. Placed through GrubHub. There was no mentionor Choice for side with sandwich combo during the online ordering process- not even a decent description of what comes with the combos. I requested silverware, condiments and napkins etc. It was received in a timely manner. Upon receiving my order there was no condiments, napkins etc. Called and inquired about it. The person was friendly and apologized. Spent 20+on the combo and delivery fees. The sandwich & hush puppies were delicious. The portions were huge which makes up for the lack of salsa and condiments.

Used to be one of my favorite spots when I worked in Charleston. $63 meal today which included a salty margarita with little to no alcohol and food poisoning. Love that for me!

I went there to get the Mai Mai burrito. Come to find out they were under new management and they completely change the menu. The menu was only one-sided and many of the dishes that used to be available or missing clued in the Mai Mai burrito. So I got the two Mai Mai tacos for $12. The tacos for a very small for $12 and the fish was dry. The chips they gave me must’ve been from the bottom of the bag because most of them you could not pick up with your fingers. I had to ask the server three times for stuff she should’ve brought on her own. I will never eat there again. How does the new one or think he’s gonna attract business with a menu like that. When I complained about the food and service the only thing they offered me was thank you for telling us they could’ve at least give me half off. What a shame this used to be such a good restaurant.

Stopped here on a road trip from SC back to OH and it was an absolutely pleasure of an experience! The restaurant itself is very cute offering outdoor seating on a front patio, not to mention it was very conveniently located right off the highway. The server was so friendly and very helpful with meal recommendations. And then the food. The food ?. Easily one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten. I had the Mahi Tacos and they were so delicious I literally didn’t eat a chip until I finished them both (not to mention they’re very good sized tacos & not the super small ones you’d expect) I just couldn’t put them down! & I’m not a big guacamole gal, but oh my gosh the guac was so fresh and yummy, as was the salsa! My mom got the Crab Cake Po Bo Sandwich & was pleasantly surprised by the amazing flavors, she puts ketchup on literally everything, didn’t need to use a drop ? I will 100% make this a regular stop when traveling, and I’m the “let’s try somewhere new” type of person. Highly recommend :)Wheelchair accessibility: The main walkway to the door is a ramp and there’s flexible seating
