Went on randomly after a walk by the river.
BILLIE was the bartender. Amazing.
She's attentive, fast, professional and promotes a great atmosphere.
There's pool tables, dart board, a basketball hoop and a jukebox (do we still call it that)
Great place to catch a vibe and a drink.

So Billy makes the best martini in Charleston West Virginia that I’ve ever had. The bar is amazing and it’s got an old-school vibe and it’s giving a mix of country R&B and hip-hop and it’s amazing. Everyone is very friendly. I recommended 10 stars.

I realized I posted a review on google but not here! The transition from Vino’s to the Blvd Grill is honestly what downtown Charleston has needed for so many years. All of the staff are amazing but I do have to say since Billie has been there it is seriously THE PLACE to be downtown. You wanna eat? They got you. Wanna play pool? They have 2 diamond tables. Wanna play darts? They have FOUR boards. Not interested in playing anything? The whole bar area is open to just hang, whether it be at the bar, the several high top tables, or the few booths they have away from to games. Listen, I might be biased, but as a frequent flyer of downtown for many, many years, I assure you this is the atmosphere Charleston has needed. And something I didn’t mention in my google review is that they also have an upstairs area that can be rented out for private events!

Best fries downtown. Also the best pool tables. The whole bar staff is friendly and attentive, but Billie has brought a whole host of great people there to shoot pool and hang, she particularly has cultivated a welcoming atmosphere. Did I mention the best fries in downtown? This is our new hang.

Tell me how I was charged 18 bucks for a drink with the blonde older bar tender. But the young brunnette charged me 10 for the same drink careful with them here.

Great dive bar, good crowd. Rather lively even for a Tuesday. Bartender was fun, personable, and entertaining.
