Sick of paying more and more for worse service and not getting what I pay for. Again I purchased an Apple PECAN chicken salad and again I got no pecans. Now the third time. I was charged extra for dressing too. Wendy’s went so far downhill that this was my last time. All the fast food restaurants in this city block are the worst managed and worst food I’ve ever experienced. Wendy’s, McDonald’s and Taco Bell all suck. Dominoes is the best around. Don’t waste your money here any longer. Also my wife’s burgers were missing pickles and onion while paying for extra of both. Just laughable. AVOID!!!

If I could give this place a zero I would The little girl in the window aajanae was her name on the receipt was so rude and the manager was even worse couldn't handle the situation if you don't like your job quit and go find a new one.

Eh, I would advise not going to this location. Stopped in to wash up and grab a bite to eat. But the bathroom was filthy and out of soap. Checked with the next bathroom and it did not even have a soap dispenser. Ended up just leaving and going somewhere else. I don't want to eat with filthy hands, but I sure don't want to be eating food if it has been made with unwashed hands.

There was no soap dispenser in the ladies restroom and flies were heavy in the back where they prepare the food. Sodaspilled all over the floor and there was not a trash bag in the trash can

Came through today the 6th and only ordered two biggie bags. nothing was wrong until we had went to the pick up window and got handed our drinks, no ice. we haven’t been told there was no ice and we didn’t ask for ‘no ice’ beverages. when we asked if we could get ice she looked at us with a blank face and said ‘we don’t have any ice’ in a condescending tone like we knew already (wasn’t told at the speakers) and tried to cover it with slight ‘kindness’. we even had to ask for our second drink, a strawberry lemonade.. which she made into a regular, after pouring out the other drink she was gonna hand us. idk just not good customer service. i understand being out of things but your team needs to communicate that with the customers and not expect them to know telepathy..

Very rude and deranged staff, most of them seem like drug testing should be more involved with this location. Waited 15 minutes and they never took the 1st order at the speaker, I pulled around to pickup the door dash since literally the store was at a standstill and they weren’t taking orders. Then I was directed to pull back around and check in because they have only 3 ppl on shift although they seemed to have a full staff walking around aimlessly. I get to the window after finally getting checked in and I hear them say “it’s door dash they can wait” bout 10/12 minutes go by and I’m finally receiving the 1 cheeseburger and 3 frostys that have already melted. As being a previous employee I know the clam grill doesn’t take 10 min to cook a patty and the fries take no more than 3 min to deep fry. What transpired tonight was pure laziness, carelessness and neglect. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Ordered baconator fries and there were 3 strips of bacon not cut and the cheese is completely solid. Took out 1 fry and almost all the cheese came off with it.

Wendy's on Washington Street is not far from the West Virginia State Capitol building in Charleston, West Virginia.

I was driven here by a friend of my late identical twin brother who died in April 2025. He ate his last meal at this Wendy's before his death, after a hard fall on the sidewalk that caused brain bleeding. I was told he only ate a few bites of his last meal.

I went three or four times to this Wendy's, and usually, I ordered the bacon hamburger with three hamburger slices, sauce, bacon, lettuce, onions, and bun. The bun could have been slightly toasted so it would not fall apart. I don't drink Coca-Cola, so I ordered a water. Although the first triple hamburger had a warm bun, the second time, the bun felt ice cold, and it was not toasted, so it fell apart as I was eating. You must get plenty of napkins because your fingers will be coated with sauce while eating.

If you go in the morning before 10:30 AM, you can order a breakfast special: biscuit with egg, cheese and bacon for only $1. My coffee was $1.89 and a friend's large Cherry Coca-Cola was just $1.00. A real bargain.

The cashier failed to give me the correct change, so I had to tell her she owed me $1.00. I was not given a paper receipt from the cash register. Be sure to count your change so you won't be cheated..

The inside is quiet and austere, but it is well air-conditioned. The tables were not all cleaned, and there was water dripping from the ceiling onto the floor in one area. The toilets are clean, but I did notice some homeless people coming inside to have a drink while cooling off or using the toilet.

Credit, debit cards, and cash are accepted. There is plenty of parking and a drive-in window for take-out orders.

The prices are almost half of other sandwich places, but if you want a filling meal, Wendy's is fine. But like many fast-food businesses, I think you are getting too much fat, sodium, and calories, and sodas such as Coca-Cola are filled with excessive sugar.

Dining area reasonably clean, staff friendly and attentive and quick service, food was not as hot as I'd like it but it was warm enough, tasty but obviously on warmer for a bit, which is expected during busy lunch hours - no big deal.
