It really doesn't get better than this. This is the real deal. They don't have a bloated menu. It's a few variations of pho, bahn mi, specials, deserts, and boba. This conciseness in their menu allows them to do each and every thing extremely well. The food is incredible, and it's become a mandatory stop for all trips to Charleston for my wife and I. Can't recommend enough.

If you travel at all and experience Vietnamese food in other places, you'll quickly realize this place is not that great at all. Mediocre at best. Even if the food was great I'd never step foot in here again because they treat you like garbage. Just awful, unhappy, rude people.

The food is ok but I've been there three times now and all three times I have found long black hair in my food. All three times!! Today the lady slammed my food down when I misplaced my number for my order and between that and the hair, that's enough for me.

I've been eating here for about 2 yrs now and every time I do, it's the same fresh made bread and awesome Bahn' Mi sandwiches every single time! I'm trying the pho soup here next time, I usually eat that right across the street at Pho Vinh Long, and I'm sure I will not be disappointed. I try to split my spending between both small restaurants, and both are amazing!

I was walking through the neighborhood and caught an incredible smell. I followed my nose to Yen's Sandwiches, and boy I'm glad I did!
The staff were extremely kind and helpful. Cash transactions are handled at the counter while credit/debit are done at a digital screen. It's was easy to make my order and pay with my credit card.
I choose the beef and lemon grass bánh mì. It was great!! ? Succulent and tangy ? the sauce was awesome and everything tasted fresh, from the vegetables to the beef. The bread had a satisfying crunch and a warm soft center.
Also, don't neglect the drink and desert menu. There are some really fun choices there and unique treats.
Yen's Sandwiches had earned apin on my map and will be a must visit whenever I am in the area.
