“I walked up in this place looking like an out of towner (totally am) but they accepted me for who I was 🥹. The band was TOP NOTCH. And I do mean top notch, sirs 👏🏻👏🏻. Moving to Charleston was a fantastic decision, all I needed was to find a local bar I felt comfortable in & not like everyone around me wanted me to be pretentious like them (*cough*go down the street *cough* a couple turn arounds *cough* you'll find one of the bars I'm not so graciously dogging right now *cough*... *cough*) I mean, why would I want to feel like I was back in Ohio. Ew. Thanks for a good time yall 🫶🏻“

“Buck's reminds me of one of those cool old hole-in-the-wall joints your dad or an uncle would tell you about from back in his day. Except Buck's is a stand-alone building. Don't go looking for a mixed drink...no no. Bottled beer, a pool table, and a jukebox are what's on the menu here! And some nice people (but they're not on the menu..).“

“Nice neighborhood bar feel. One feels as family when visiting. It truly is a place where everybody knows your name. Good selection of domestic beers. Decent selection of spirits. Not high end (which appeals to me) kind of place, a causal, relaxing and conversational atmosphere.“

“I visited Vino's with some out of town friends. We were all pleased with the staff and the facility. We stayed on the lower level had some drinks, played pool, and a hunting game. The basketball shoot-out game did not keep score and the balls were flat, but that's my only complaint ??♀️“
