This popular restaurant is closed... Seems to have done average business, with appeal to families and lower end orders

This place is a "must go destination" on any trips I take in the area or any trips my friends take to the area, the food is great the prices amazing the games winnable and a great laugh! The catfish and birds outside are fun to feed and the staff has always been friendly welcoming fun and personable, I don't get up that way too often latley but they seem to recognize me and mine every time! An absolute highlight of an already friendly and beautiful place near and dear to my heart!!!

I come here annually because family members like it. It's pretty horrible. It feels unclean and the food has been awful no matter what I've tried (just about everything on the menu). I guess if you have kids the arcade may make it worth it but I'd rather eat gas station snacks than any of their food.

Food wasn't bad. My husband ordered the angus burger and a side of fries and I ordered the chicken alfredo. The food wasn't bad by any means, though the alfredo sauce seemed more like a garlic cream sauce, still pretty good though. The server was very friendly and pleasant. No complaints what-so-ever.The only downside was that we would have liked to play some of the arcade games, but a small handful of them were out of order (the main ones were still up and functioning though). But overall, it wasn't a bad experiance.

A very nice and clean restaurant in the area. The cheese steak and fries was excellent and I got to enjoy the catfish pond as a bonus. Competitive prices and fast service.

We had a very disappointing visit to Big John’s Pizza. When lemon wedges were asked for water as they had no lemonade or iced tea.Someone from back yelled rudely. What do they think this is a 5 star restaurant! The service was slow and the pizza was doughy and lukewarm. We had to ask for utensils. We asked were we supposed to pick them up and then the waitress said she would get us some. I asked to speak to manager on duty and was told they were not there. Staff was very unprofessional except for the cashier. This visit was July 29th 2021 at 12:05 pm.

Best burger I've ever had, atmosphere was great, all around good time, but they dont stamp a WV in the bun like they used to...

My wife’s family has stopped here for years, this was my 2nd visit. I don’t think it’s anything over the top to brag about. Cheesesteak was okay, family had pizza and enjoyed it. Some of the games were not working, the fish food dispensers were empty as was the claw game. They have removed the tickets earned from playing the games and the prize redemption area. The ice cream was removed too. The staff was friendly and got our order correct. I thought it was a bit pricey but what place isn’t anymore? Definitely has went downhill from my last visit 3 years ago.

We had just visited Blackwater Falls State Park and decided to stop here for lunch. My niece had heard good things about this restaurant. Well... we must have gotten there on a bad day. It was a Sunday around 1 PM. There were only a couple other customers. We were a group of 8 and put in our orders on three separate tickets. This place had the whole "home-cooking" vibe so I ordered the meatball sandwich. The sauce on the sandwich was OK. The meatballs were awful and inedible for me. They had an odd texture - grainy and lumpy - and some weird unidentifiable spice. One person has spaghetti alfredo and said it was so-so. One child had chicken strips which he refused to eat because of the weird flavor and texture. One of the three tickets took 20 minutes longer than the other two which meant most of us were done eating before they even got their order! The best anyone could say was it was OK. The kids enjoyed feeding the fish and geese after lunch. It's convenient to the State Park, but surely there has to be somewhere better to eat?

We thought it was over priced for what we got and the teens working were all kind but needed to remember to be professional at work. We were also disappointed there was no game room when advertised on the website like it's still there. But we ate on the porch and loved that!

Good food, fish is fun to watch while you wait. Down hill post covid for sure, but still great for large parties.Edit: Dropping to 1 star because $8 for a side of fries is unacceptable ($13 for just the burger).

Average food. Not much variety. Good service though.

Had a powder day at T- Line and needed a good place to relax and eat after. This place was great. My son loved the games, i liked the space the booths provided. Food was good. Wings were a hit. Staff was attentive and respectful. Will be back for sure.
