This is a great place after a day of adventure. They are a foundation of vegan options in Davis and Thomas. There isn't much consistency in the area, but great that Hellbender burritos is unwavering in having vegan options over the years. The food is solid, burritos are gigantic, and the mascot is adorable. It's a great stop after a day of skiing, mountain biking, or any adventures the area has to offer.

Great Atmosphere, Friendly staff. We have tried the twice, about a year apart. Second time was because everyone we talked to raves about them, Have had 4 different burritos. Positive note: The Burritos are huge serving size. Dry meat, no real flavor, Very disappointing, wanted to love them.

We were a family of four staying at the Blackwater Lodge, who stopped at this place as it had good ratings both in Yelp and Google. Being vegetarians, we had some options with burritos and tacos. The portion size can be large, so be cautious when you order. After we sat down to eat, we heard the lady behind the counter explain to another customer that there are smaller portions available if requested. Wish we had known this earlier. The seating can get cramped so you may want to get a place that is comfortable. When we arrived around 1:00 pm for lunch the front section and upstairs were all completely full.
The veggie burritos and tacos were delicious and seemed like a good option in a small place like Davis.

These people knock it out of the park every time! I feel welcomed when I come in, the food is ready faster than I ever expect, and the food! Every part of the bowl was how I asked for it and the shredded pork, my favorite, is always soooo good. Thanks Hellbenders!

I would describe these burritos as "pretty white" but for the portions you get for the price you can't beat it. I got the hellbender burrito and it was huge. It was described as spicy but I thought it was pretty mellow. Was very tasty though. I also got a T-shirt and a hat as a souvenir.
