It's way too small. We went in to get a cup of hot cocoa and warm up. No where to sit. They need to remove about 1/2 the tables and just put chairs/benches around the inside perimeter. 80% of people were not eatting, just warming up and having a beverage.

Fun little place to relaxe maybe get a bite or a dri nk before you hit Ballhootet lift back up the mountian. Not sure about summer time. But quite a few stops after a few long trail runs

It was not open we was told it was and we drove all the down to find it was closed they need to put signs up to let guests know where the location is it would be much appreciated!!!!!!!

The building and equipment is run down. It has been on the replacement schedule for about 10 years. The ice cream freezer was acting up when there and only a few flavors of ice cream were soft enough for them to actually be able to scoop. The rest were frozen solid. Nice staff with smiles.

We had chili and hot chocolate after a morning of skiing, and it was good. The chili tasted as good as homemade. The hot chocolate was burn-your-mouth hot, but luckily the 15°F weather cooled it down and it was tasty.
The inside was completely packed, so don't bank on warming up here. There was plenty of outdoor seating though and with the direct sun it was quite nice even in freezing temperatures.

This place gets some credit as it is HARD to get food to this location, and the ice cream and milkshakes here are excellent! If you get caught at the bottom in a storm like we did, this place is to the rescue with options to cheer up the kids, get a nice drink, sit on the deck and enjoy a beautiful lake view.
