It was not open we was told it was and we drove all the down to find it was closed they need to put signs up to let guests know where the location is it would be much appreciated!!!!!!!

The building and equipment is run down. It has been on the replacement schedule for about 10 years. The ice cream freezer was acting up when there and only a few flavors of ice cream were soft enough for them to actually be able to scoop. The rest were frozen solid. Nice staff with smiles.

We had chili and hot chocolate after a morning of skiing, and it was good. The chili tasted as good as homemade. The hot chocolate was burn-your-mouth hot, but luckily the 15°F weather cooled it down and it was tasty.
The inside was completely packed, so don't bank on warming up here. There was plenty of outdoor seating though and with the direct sun it was quite nice even in freezing temperatures.

This place gets some credit as it is HARD to get food to this location, and the ice cream and milkshakes here are excellent! If you get caught at the bottom in a storm like we did, this place is to the rescue with options to cheer up the kids, get a nice drink, sit on the deck and enjoy a beautiful lake view.

What can I say, it is the central point for the bottom of the mountain so depending the time you come down, you can get over crowded or have a nice peaceful time on the lake. Food is good but basic, with the occasional venison chili and during some events or weekends the redbull truck blasting music and selling drinks. So overall a good time to stop. ?

The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is everything for cooking and eating, and everything for relaxation. The bathroom is clean. (Just not enough shower gel and shampoos.) I was very pleased! Great hotel!

Just got 2 beers and $20's later tried to sit outside and enjoy them.Sitting outside, the heaters were broken, and a strong propane smell in the air noticed by multiple gueats. We had to move away from the deck area.Trash cans are overflowing, not enough staff or oversight from management.
