“On our recent visit to Pocahontas County my family stopped by Mountain State Cakes. I am so glad we did! The smell of fresh baked bread and sweets met us at the door along with the biggest smile! Each case had something that looked better than the last. We got a little bit of everything, cookies, a cake, bread, doggie treats and amazing pizza rolls! Everything was amazing! It truly is a must if you are in the area!”

“The western territory side of the bike trails has some interesting and technical features, as well as a fun jump line. Usually a shorter wait time versus the main ball hooter lift. But be warned that when it thunders, the lift will shut down and you must wait on a shuttle to bring you back to the village”

“Fun little place to relaxe maybe get a bite or a dri nk before you hit Ballhootet lift back up the mountian. Not sure about summer time. But quite a few stops after a few long trail runs”

“We love going to Old Spruce at any of their locations around the mountain. You can't beat family businesses, the owner is very involved and also very friendly, and the staff are amazing. We always have a wonderful time. Thanks for being awesome!”

“was so upset on Saturday about stink bugs in my room they were so nice to even let me hang all day till my husband got back from the train store they went above and beyond what they are paided to do much appreciated and the food was delicious specially the peanut butter pie sure did make me happy”

“Hunt Brothers Pizza is a great pizza for anybody searching for really good tasting food the employees are always very respectful their Pizza is also never undercooked or overcooked it is always just right with a perfect amount of toppings”

“This place was nice, the Aranchini was amazing but the Trout was just ok. The Pasta that came with the Trout tasted very fishy and for $50 it was disappointing. That said I think it is the best place at Snowshoe to get high quality food.”

“Hands down best pizza on the mountain! Fresh ingredients, wood-fired, and gluten free options. The prosciutto & arugula was our fav, with the wild shroom, and margherita pizza’s being a close second. Cannot go wrong with any of the options. We grabbed a seat at Tuque’s upstairs and ordered from there, but you can also grab takeout. Perfect ski-in ski-out spot off Powder Monkey lift. And definitely don’t skip on the gelato… sea salt caramel!”

“This slightly out of the way joint provided a hot meal for my family when we needed it. Other places we called would not do carryout, citing the number of customers they had. After a day skiing, my kids were hungry and not particularly picky. Yes, the options are limited, but I thought the double smash burger with tots was good and my wife enjoyed the grilled chicken sandwich. The cobb salad was fine, but not large. The mango habanero wings were surprisingly good (I liked them better than the wings at Cheat Pizza for comparison), as were the tots. Importantly, the service provided by Sean was prompt and friendly - these are qualities sometimes in short supply in other parts of the resort area. He did well! All in all, Hoots came through in a pinch and we will return.”

“This is a beautiful place to visit. There are people of all ages some with their children & pets. We have never been here before but will definitely come back. Everyone we have met at the places we have been are so nice & helpful. Allegheny Springs is a great place to stay.”

“Absolutely love coming to Starbucks at Snowshoe, my daughter and I drive 30mins to come up here and enjoy the amazing drinks. The staff is always friendly and very polite, they are also very knowledgeable, they recommend the best drinks! Ask about the Chocolate Mousse Iced coffee, you won’t be disappointed! ❤️❤️”

“Wonderful place!! I came here for lunch while skiing, and I was really satisfied by the experience!! Our server, Tommy, was super friendly and an awesome guy! The food was amazing and came pretty quickly, as a person with food allergies, it is always a challenge to find items I can have, but Tommy was super helpful, and not only helped me find options I could have, but he specifically made a portion of wings in the oven so I could eat them!! It was a great time and a great place to eat, and I’m super appreciate of the wonderful service I received, overall great place!!😁”

“Our waitress kinda ruined the whole experience, just rude because we asked for our order to be served the way we ordered.

Just a sour experience overall.
