Meals at the inn were delightful, complemented by generous pours and engaging conversations. The short walk to town and proximity to Snowshoe struck the perfect balance between seclusion and convenience. The peaceful winter scenes and mingling with fellow guests added to the overall charm. We left the inn feeling immensely grateful for the respite and generosity from our hosts. A wholehearted recommendation for those seeking a tranquil retreat, and we eagerly anticipate a return in the future!”

“Stopped here for some gas and this place was inside the convenience store. They had several types of pizza on the rotating rack as well as pepperoni rolls. Since I'm physically and mentally unable to not buy a pepperoni roll that's for sale I inquired and she said they had a special for two of them so I got two. Took them home put them in the air fryer and they were good.Parking: It's a weird location of a lot with a small gas island in one end in a precarious place at a major intersection at the bridge. Keep your head in a swivel.”

“The subs here are always great & fast, courteous service. Since it is in a gas station it's a plus as I don't have to make 2 separate stops.Vegetarian options: They have a veggie sub but happily customize to suit your wishes!”

“We love Alfredo’s at the Crossroads Mall. I’m not a person who complains about my food, but I got the ravioli and for my taste, the ravioli was too hard... I have to give props to the owner or chef, or maybe he was both.. but after we told the waitress about it, he came out and asked me what was wrong and replaced my order with something else.. Excellent customer service.. yea, that definitely got the Chefs ticket jar a nice tip.. I highly recommend them.. we enjoyed our Anniversary get away dinner there in Beautiful Pocahontas County. ��”

“If your driving thru this area it's Definitely a place to stop for good food. We had the Club Sandwich..which was the best we have had in a long time...super fresh and super good. Also ordered a bowl of Chili...was perfect...I almost ordered another it was so good. We also had the BBQ boneless Wings, the sauce was amazing. Then we had a surprise dessert... Cheesecake Tacos are off the chain...good...Get you some! And when your all done eating...Get you some Duck Food.... .50 a bag and well with it..The Ducks and the Goose who limps and seems to be missing part of a wing... little birds they come flying in from everywhere and are adorable. I think we ended up feeding them 5 bucks worth. It's definitely worth the stop...it was a bit cold for us to sit outside very nice place anyway..We were so hungry I didn't get a picture of everything.”
