Our stay at the Locust Hill Inn was a much-needed escape from stress, offering solace and serenity. Stayed at The Cabin for a long weekend. Took day trips out to Snowshoe, Cass, Green Bank Observatory and Nature. Great location for this as Marlinton has a few restaurants, grocery, etc.The cabin was nice and has what we needed for a basic weekend of exploring and trying to get snowed in, exactly what we needed to refresh. The included Breakfasts were excellent and took the stress out of packing for meals.Joe and Vanessa were very nice and accommodating and excellent cooks! Sad...read full review

I cannot recommend this place enough! We stayed at the cabin which was extremely private and peaceful. Our favorite part was looking out at the stars and views while in the hot tub. The food at the restaurant was amazing and they had trivia on Thursday nights which was a huge success and a lot of fun! We will definitely be back.
