A slightly below average Applebee's. Not what it used to be. Good food and service. Starting to get a little shabby and could use some TLC. The plastic handle of my knife was decomposing from age and use.

Walked in no greeter, went sat at the bar, 4 employees setting at a table no acknowledgment at all we were there while we sat down bartender went somewhere they just looked at us no service no nothing so we left and went somewhere else. If you want good service or if you even want to eat go somewhere else don't patronize a place that don't care if you are a customer or not. Also want to add there was only five people in the restaurant eating at this time so they weren't too busy to take care of us they just didn't care.

It was pretty decent. When I went, it was PACKED but it was seemingly quiet. I did order a steak, it had a lot of pepper on it, but overall pretty good place.

Atmosphere is one thing but so dark you almost need a flashlight to read the menu is not OK, then I am asked to contact them and explain the problem... I just explained the issue... Simple issue, turn your dimmer up a notch... Also was charged to change the side on my order when the side I asked for was the same price... This is stealing from the customer when you are asking them to scoop from a different dish... That is not a hard thing to do... Every time I go to an applebees it seems worse and they don't seem to care... Save yourself the time and hassle and go somewhere else...

4 mac&cheese with honey chicken only came with 3 small stripes about 2 inches long steak 1 was over well the other was raw ask for medium onion rings was burnt fries was cold
We stopped in about 2:45 today. Several cars in the parking lot and several tables inside occupied. No hostess at hostess station to be seated. Stood there waiting 5-10 minutes. 2 different employees saw us standing there and completely ignored us, not once but several times. We love Applebee's but chances are we won't go to this one again.

Marshall, who works the bar and bar dining area, is a GREAT waiter. I found him to be attentive and friendly. He stopped two or three times at our table to be sure we were satisfied and in need of anything. We'll always sit in the bar area if you are working when we come to Applebee's. THANK YOU Marshall!! 😊

My friend and I have been to this location several times, it’s always been decent … but yesterday’s experience was terrible! We were seated promptly - we sat longer than expected before our waitress came to get our drink order (while waiting I was watching bartender and other employees constantly touching their hair, and I stated to my friend, how if I managed this place I would be talking to the staff about their appearance and how they cannot play with their hair while working, several of the waitresses were twisting their hair, running their hands through their hair - a no no, especially in the food industry!)…and lo and behold, my friend had a hair in her margarita. And yes, I realize this can happen anywhere … but the point is - you don’t touch your hair!! Well, that’s not all … after we gave our drink order to our waitress - it was the bartender that came over to announce that our waitress was feeling sick and talking with the manager and she would take our food order. We ordered. A few minutes passed… bartender returned and said, your waitress is feeling better now and will be returning. Well, needless to say I didn’t want my food served by a sick waitress… never mind the hair in the drink … we were done! We waited a few minutes for the waitress to return to our table to cancel the order and to inform her of the hair in the drink (we did not drink the drinks) … she didn’t arrive. We decided to leave … enough was enough! I stopped by the hostess station to inform her we’re leaving … no one there. So yes, we left without paying for the drinks (which we didn’t drink) and yes, we left without canceling our order - though we tried to inform staff. Poor management with low expectations lead to poor quality.

Worst run Applebee's I've ever been to. Booked a stay overnight in Elkins; got in late and Applebee's was one of the few places still open. Service was exceptionally slow. Fifteen minutes before anyone came over to get our drink order. Another fifteen minutes before the waitress came to tell us they had already dumped all of the sweet tea for the night so we couldn't get any. I ordered the Bourbon Street chicken and shrimp, which I usually like; did not taste good, like they just dumped a bunch of salt on the chicken breast.
