“New to the area. Went in for the first time. Had a couple cold beers (frosted jugs for two beer) and the Mountaineer nachos. Good food and cold beer. Can’t ask for much more. Have a feeling this will be my spot in town to relax, watch sports and have a good ”
“Nestled atop Kelly Mountain, The Forks isn't just a restaurant; it's an experience that captivates both your palate and your sense of beauty. The panoramic views from our table were nothing short of breathtaking, offering a perfect backdrop to an evening of culinary exploration.Opting for the six-course sampler, priced at $80 per head, we were taken on a gastronomic journey that highlighted the best The Forks had to offer. This option provided a generous taste across the menu, making it an excellent choice for anyone looking to immerse themselves fully in what this establishment has to excel. The main courses were a standout, particularly the tuna steaks and veal, which were cooked to perfection and showcased a mastery of flavor and technique. The tuna was seared flawlessly, retaining its moistness and delicate texture, while the veal was tender, rich, and complemented by a beautifully balanced sauce.A delightful surprise was the trout chowder, a dish that by itself would be worth the trip. Rich, creamy, and packed with flavor, it was an absolute triumph of a soup, leaving us longing for more. The appetizers did not disappoint either, setting the stage for the impressive courses that followed. Each bite was a testament to the chef's ability to blend tradition with innovation, resulting in dishes that were both familiar and exciting. Our waiter added immensely to the experience, striking the perfect balance between professionalism and personality. His recommendations were spot on, and his engaging demeanor made our evening all the more enjoyable. In summary, The Forks at Kelly Mountain offers more than just a meal; it offers an unforgettable experience that marries culinary excellence with the natural beauty of its surroundings. It's a must-visit for those seeking to indulge in a meal that will be remembered long after the last bite.”
“I went on a lunch date here on a Sunday last month. We were seated pretty quickly despite a small church rush. I would say that the biggest problem my date and I had was trying to decide what we wanted, because there were multiple things that sounded great! We both ended up deciding on the chicken bacon ranch quesadillas. I also got a coffee and a mint milkshake. Now I know it's a weird combo, but I couldn't resist the temptation of homemade ice cream made into a milkshake. Overall, the food was fantastic, I give my biggest compliments to the chef. The waitress we had was very patient with our indecisiveness. She was definitely on top of things! I will definitely come back here the next time I'm in town.”

When we finished one of the co-owners brought us out brownies and cookies to show appreciation for our business! We will definitely be going back and I highly recommend people to support them! “Ordered a rubin for take out as I was recommended by another local to try. Reuben was perfect and it's been a long time since I've had a perfect Ruben. The bread was correct the meat was perfect the toasting was just right. If I was local I would eat there for lunch every day.If you find this helpful, tell them Sky sent you in, and that he loves the rubin”

“Kie was a wonderful server! She was very sweet and made sure we had everything we needed. The portions were great! DONT order a lot like us! If you live here or you’re just visiting you should stop in for a bite!”
“Nifty little old school donut shop. Coffee that tastes like coffee - no "notes of raspberry, tropical fruits, and leather." It's coffee that would be fine being called Joe.Donuts are big, flaky, and tasty. And there are other fine things on the menu like hot dogs, sandwiches, and pepperoni rolls. All inside a comfy atmosphere.Worth a stop and stay. Five stars”
