“Stopped here to try their hotdogs and saw they had ramp burgers! Both were very good, but the burger was the star ? Love that they incorporated the ramps into the burger patty. Can’t wait to come back and try more things, they have a very interesting menu!”
“Erica was so nice. This was my first time here and she made my group feel so welcome. We had several drinks and we all had the daily special which was delicious (it was there pulled pork)! We will be coming back for sure!!!”
“Came here for breakfast and it was very good. There sausage is amazing and so is there home made pies. I love the atmosphere very nice and cozy and clean . Wish they were in PA were I live I be there daily.”
“The food is always fabulous. Just if you call in an order, there's so much noise in the background you can barely understand what she's saying . Y'all need to fix that .”
“I have never noticed this little restaurant until the other day and I'm so happy me and my friends went. I will definitely be going back I go to Junior a lot so this will probably be my go-to place. Food was amazing service was wonderful.”
“Girl was making sandwiches then walked over to register and checked someone out handling money...then proceeded to finish making sandwiches without changing gloves.... ?”
“Nifty little old school donut shop. Coffee that tastes like coffee - no "notes of raspberry, tropical fruits, and leather." It's coffee that would be fine being called Joe.Donuts are big, flaky, and tasty. And there are other fine things on the menu like hot dogs, sandwiches, and pepperoni rolls. All inside a comfy atmosphere.Worth a stop and stay. Five stars”
“New to the area. Went in for the first time. Had a couple cold beers (frosted jugs for two beer) and the Mountaineer nachos. Good food and cold beer. Can’t ask for much more. Have a feeling this will be my spot in town to relax, watch sports and have a good ”
“Super fun ?. Visiting from out of town. Lots of fun folks on open mic night was awesome. Ice cream was delicious. Tried peanut butter, cookie dough, caramel ice cream for the first time. Excellent choice. ?”
“Nestled atop Kelly Mountain, The Forks isn't just a restaurant; it's an experience that captivates both your palate and your sense of beauty. The panoramic views from our table were nothing short of breathtaking, offering a perfect backdrop to an evening of culinary exploration.Opting for the six-course sampler, priced at $80 per head, we were taken on a gastronomic journey that highlighted the best The Forks had to offer. This option provided a generous taste across the menu, making it an excellent choice for anyone looking to immerse themselves fully in what this establishment has to excel. The main courses were a standout, particularly the tuna steaks and veal, which were cooked to perfection and showcased a mastery of flavor and technique. The tuna was seared flawlessly, retaining its moistness and delicate texture, while the veal was tender, rich, and complemented by a beautifully balanced sauce.A delightful surprise was the trout chowder, a dish that by itself would be worth the trip. Rich, creamy, and packed with flavor, it was an absolute triumph of a soup, leaving us longing for more. The appetizers did not disappoint either, setting the stage for the impressive courses that followed. Each bite was a testament to the chef's ability to blend tradition with innovation, resulting in dishes that were both familiar and exciting. Our waiter added immensely to the experience, striking the perfect balance between professionalism and personality. His recommendations were spot on, and his engaging demeanor made our evening all the more enjoyable. In summary, The Forks at Kelly Mountain offers more than just a meal; it offers an unforgettable experience that marries culinary excellence with the natural beauty of its surroundings. It's a must-visit for those seeking to indulge in a meal that will be remembered long after the last bite.”
“I went on a lunch date here on a Sunday last month. We were seated pretty quickly despite a small church rush. I would say that the biggest problem my date and I had was trying to decide what we wanted, because there were multiple things that sounded great! We both ended up deciding on the chicken bacon ranch quesadillas. I also got a coffee and a mint milkshake. Now I know it's a weird combo, but I couldn't resist the temptation of homemade ice cream made into a milkshake. Overall, the food was fantastic, I give my biggest compliments to the chef. The waitress we had was very patient with our indecisiveness. She was definitely on top of things! I will definitely come back here the next time I'm in town.”
“One of my favorite breweries in WV! I’m in the Eastern Panhandle and don’t make it to the brewery too often, but I’m thankful for their green piney IPAs I can get in my area! If you’re at the brewery, check out their Mexican Lager ! ??”
“This is a fantastic place to stop by! There are about five places to sit near the coffee bar, with additional outdoor spots and some booths upstairs. Food and beverage-wise, you can find hot lunch specials and to-go foods, pastries from local shops, premium ice cream, bubble tea, power drinks, and lattes. While this is one of the higher-end priced coffee shops in town, I really enjoy the fun flavors and presentations they come up with weekly. Below is a sandwich board of the drink specials they had when Stranger Things Season 4 released, and the "Drink of Despair" latte I ordered when there was a Harry Potter drink lineup. They have milk alternatives, too, for the dairy-free folks. Additionally, the customer service is fantastic. You get a free drink (or the price of a medium off) after 10 stamps on a rewards card, so rewards card people will be delighted!”

“Using the visit of a friend as an excuse, we drove to Elkins to shop and went to Tip Top Cafe on Saturday the 16th of March. It was incredibly busy yet the person serving us went out of her way to make the experience memorable. It is a fantastic place. Highly recommended! serving perfect expresso and great pastries! I wish I could be there every day. Thank you again! (Can you believe we drove a couple hours back on Monday to get more?....)”
“I just went there to meet a friend and to give a ride but it was a pleasant atmosphere and the service was great, if that's your kind of thing it seems like a nice place to relax and have a good time with ”
“Smelled wonderful when we walked in. Excellent breakfast sandwiches (albeit a little pricey) and fantastic blueberry cream cheese scone. Service needed improvement. It took awhile before someone took our order even though we were standing at the register. My sandwich had the wrong cheese on it but good nonetheless.”
“Cannot thank them enough!! I called the day before needing someone to make my son’s cake pops for his party for the next day due to issues with the person making them originally and they fit us in! They were beautiful and delicious, we will definitely be ordering again!”
“Their wings are delicious. I had the mango habanero, my favorite flavor. I had bacon cheddar fries too and I loved the fact that the cheese was actually melted well on them.”
“I've been eating at Darren's for maybe 3 yearsParking: 8-10 spaces for take-out, I've always been able to park. There's also adjacent parking lot I used when pulling trailerWheelchair accessibility: Parking lot paved, level access through 36 inch wide - manual door”

“We brought a group of about 25-30 without much notice… They gave us hands down the Best service we have received in town! They were friendly, and didn’t get overwhelmed or stressed. When we finished one of the co-owners brought us out brownies and cookies to show appreciation for our business! We will definitely be going back and I highly recommend people to support them! That is how you run a business!!!”
“Ordered a rubin for take out as I was recommended by another local to try. Reuben was perfect and it's been a long time since I've had a perfect Ruben. The bread was correct the meat was perfect the toasting was just right. If I was local I would eat there for lunch every day.If you find this helpful, tell them Sky sent you in, and that he loves the rubin”
“Got a three piece chicken dinner and the chicken even though it was good was a bit old. Service was excellent and the establishment is clean but also in need of small repair. But overall I give this establishment a 4 out of 5stars. I would recommend to eat here for the proper diner experience.”
“I highly recommend this restaurant. I've been going here since I was very young. I had the county fried steak with white gravy and mashed potatoes and green beans and a nice salad. They are not skimpy with their servings and I have never had a bad experience. The beans and cornbread are also delicious. For appetizer, I chose breaded mushrooms and they give you like 10 to 12, not just 4 or 5. Go visit if you haven't. You will love❤️”
