We stopped at Bob Evans in Elkins, WV for breakfast on Wednesday, October 16th. We were blessed to have Jamie as our server! She was DELIGHTFUL! She had a great personality, was continually keeping busy and kept great tabs on her customers. Our food was delicious and served just as we requested. Jamie offered refills and was very attentive. Jamie made our experience wonderful and is to be commended for her talents. She related to us how much she loves her job and it is easy to see!

Bacon was cold, sausage tasted weird and soapy, some dude yelled about his food looking like it had tapeworms in it, not a great experience.

This review is for the Bob Evans in Elkins, WV. The atmosphere is OK, the service is fine, the staff tries their best to be helpful and polite, but I don't go to a restaurant to socialize with the staff or sit around and enjoy the ambiance; I go to a restaurant, or I order take out, for the food, and the food is MEDIOCRE, at best, if not (often!) plain bad!
Don't be fooled by the nice pictures of their plates and servings that you see on the web! The food is anything but that! The servings are also much smaller. They are stingy. Ask for anything that comes with banana bread on the side and you might, just might get lucky and get two nice slices from the middle of the cake... most of the time (in my experience 4 out of 5 orders) you get a couple of slices from the beginning of the cake, that don't even make up for a single decent slice! Do they have the decency of giving you 3 slices instead of two, because they are so much smaller? NOPE! It's just simply not worth the money most of the time. It's convenient because it's close by and we got used to it, but I am gonna start patronizing another restaurant. THUMBS DOWN Bob Evans! THUMBS DOWN!!!

Ordered turkey dinner. Received double stuffing no green beans. Food was so salty that I could not eat it. Husband got pot roast which was good. If I would have dined in, I would have sent it back. I was unable to place my order online. Very frustrating. Worst meal ever.

The food was good, they were out of several different salad dressings. The waitress was friendly enough but wasn't real attentive. And after we got our bill and started to get up to leave, we told her, thanks, have a good day, to which she proceeded to tell us that her day couldn't get any worse. We were in the last booth toward the tables at the windows and she pointed to the floor at the corner of our booth toward the tables and said that earlier that day, someone had gotten up and pooped down their pant leg (yes, to our surprise, she literally said that to us as customers) and said that she had to clean it up. She said she shouldn't have to clean poop off the floor but that she did. Thank goodness we were done eating! We couldn’t believe that she told us that! I work in management and I can't imagine one of my employees saying something like that to a client! Very unprofessional to say the least! I didnt get her name, but she had blonde hair (but i don't think she was the only blonde working that day) and we were there this past Saturday afternoon, 5/18/24. I don't want anyone to lose their job but I think they need told what not to say to customers that would reflect bad on the business.

This morning me and my girlfriend got a takeout order. When I got the food, I made the terrible mistake of not checking the food before leaving the establishment. Our meals were mixed into different containers, I was missing my order of bacon, and when checking the other items, there was approximately a third of the order of hash browns compared to the other dish we ordered. We both work in the food industry and completely understand how things work, but how the expo saw the dish and bagged it up, and served us our order is completely unacceptable. Went back to get our missing items, and was given my missing bacon, and raw hash-browns, that we had to cook ourselves. I did not ask for a refund, never again will I pay for raw, and missing food, ever again from this establishment. Do better management..
