I went for the salad bar as I desperately needed healthy food while traveling for work. I would highly recommend this spot solely based on that! The aromas coming from the kitchen were wonderful and the menu looked delicious, Don't let the outside appearance fool you. It is not just a bar. There is a dining room completely separate and it is clean and well-appointed.

I think the AC unit was out, it was 81 degrees in this place, our waitress was very attentive. Seated quickly and food came out very quickly. The food was mediocre, 9$ for a one trip salad bar was kinda disappointing. I got a salad and the Mexican street corn. My husband got a chicken sandwich and he seemed to like it. My son got the kids sirloin and didn’t seem to care for it, but kids will be kids so it’s hard to tell on that. My older son got chicken fajitas and queso and chips and overall said it was decent.

first and last time eating here. my mom ordered a one trip salad bar with her meal which we was told was $5 extra. when my mom went to the salad bar she got a salad in one plate and two pieces of watermelon on the other. 2 plates total. the waitress came to us and said she was yelled at that we got 2 plates. when we got our bill it had a +$5 salad with meal and $9 charge for a one trip salad. when we tried to dispute the bill as an extra charge the waitress was yelled at again and told us since we got an extra plate we had to pay the extra ($9). also food wasn’t worth $86. mac n cheese wasn’t good, baked potato was cold, chips for queso wasn’t good. wasn’t worth the money. won’t be back

I honestly hate leaving bad reviews, especially since it seems everyone had great experience here. Was so looking forward to eating here. Our waitress was super friendly and nice. When our food finally arrived, it was not hot, our steaks were not what we ordered, and neither of us were going to complain, was just going to eat and chalk it up. But, I just couldn't eat my steak and neither could my husband. When our waitress finally came to ask how it was, I said not good. she said the kitchen was short staffed, but she went to get the manager, came back and said she was busy but she'd be out shortly. 5 minutes later a not so friendly woman came over and said what's the problem, I preceeded to explain the issues, and she took the hand held computer from the waitress and clicked a few buttons and then said there it's taken care of. No apologies...nothing. I have NEVER had a manager be so pissy with me, over something that had nothing to do with my patronage.

El Toro Steakhouse is a lovely place to enjoy a meal with family! My experience there was nothing short of spectacular. I was greeted by the warm and welcoming staff who made me feel right at home. The salad bar was a delightful surprise, brimming with fresh and vibrant options that set the tone for the meal. I also tried the empanadas, which were simply divine—golden and flaky on the outside, with a filling that was rich and savory.
