Went yesterday,for dinner. First server did not speak English. Try to order drinks, brought two flat pops.and one margaritas that was not right. Poorly made.told manager, was told that they were short staffed. NO ONE KNEW HOW TO MAKE A DRINK.GOT UP AND LEFT. DON'T WASTE YOU'RE TIME HERE!

Tonight was our 1st visit. We felt welcome and staff was attentive and caring. Food was a delicious surprise! I had the American grill which was a nice option since you can have the Brazilian grill if you want. My steak and sides were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Also had the cocktail of the week which was amazing with blackberry whiskey and fresh blackberries and apple slices. It was a refreshing cold drink for the end of a summer day! Will definitely come back!

If I lived in Elkins, I would be eating at El Toro at least once a week! As it is, I ate here twice during my 3 day visit. Those two meals were definitely the best that I've had in a long time!
The Latin American food is authentic, fresh, and delicious! The owner/ chef is originally from Venezuela and takes pride in her cuisine.
My lunch on Thursday was pork cachapas with rice and black beans. Each item had a delicious, unique flavor. On Saturday, I ordered the Brazilian grill, which consisted of steak, sausage and pineapple served on a sizzling grill plate. It also came with one side, which was rice for me. I also added a one trip salad bar. This is definitely not your typical salad bar and had some unique offerings including cream cheese topped with mango sauce and mango slices dipped in hot spices.
The restaurant itself is spacious and clean. Servers were friendly, helpful, and efficient. I also got to meet the owner who was checking in with the customers.
If you're visiting Elkins, don't miss El Toro!

I went for the salad bar as I desperately needed healthy food while traveling for work. I would highly recommend this spot solely based on that! The aromas coming from the kitchen were wonderful and the menu looked delicious, Don't let the outside appearance fool you. It is not just a bar. There is a dining room completely separate and it is clean and well-appointed.

I think the AC unit was out, it was 81 degrees in this place, our waitress was very attentive. Seated quickly and food came out very quickly. The food was mediocre, 9$ for a one trip salad bar was kinda disappointing. I got a salad and the Mexican street corn. My husband got a chicken sandwich and he seemed to like it. My son got the kids sirloin and didn’t seem to care for it, but kids will be kids so it’s hard to tell on that. My older son got chicken fajitas and queso and chips and overall said it was decent.
I travel a lot and will go out of my way to come here. The staff are great, the restaurant is always immaculately clean, and the food is wonderful. Highly recommended place!

Excellent freshly prepared top quality food. The staff is courteous and accommodating. A fresh fresh salad bar with a huge variety of meats vegetables and greens. They are presented in small quantities so that a fresh bar is always available. Head and shoulders above any entry in town
