Wow, neat little find. Dropped by with a few friends, all feom iut of town, stretching from the east coast to Louisville. The father-daughter team put together a neat little brewery. The pulled pork sandwich was out of this world and the West Coast IPA was spot on. Friendly staff!

Would have loved to rate the food and beer but we went in and sat ourselves (per instructions) and sat for over 10 minutes in a near empty restaurant. Staff was sitting at the bar and kept stopping by the only other table in there. We got a half hearted wave from one employee then we were ignored by the rest.

Would give 0 stars if I could. They refused my service animal, even on the patio (and I offered to show her certification), and instead of being polite about it they were rude and condescending.

Great food, great people, great beer.

Our server Morgan was great and we also talked with Sam, the owner. I might not have chosen their PB&J burger on my own, but I am glad I took Morgan's advice and ordered it. I'd for sure order it again!

One thing is if you're from out of town, Google Maps says to turn on to Russell Street, but it's in fact Bow String Ln. The location of the drive was accurate, just not the name. It said we would be turning onto Russell. We figured out our mistake pretty quickly and turned around. Might be a little trickier if it's at night.

I liked the beers I sampled. I tried the ramp beer, and though it did not taste very much of ramps, it just wasn't my favorite. The other selections I had were really good.

Fox Hops has a good vibe, and I will definitely return the next time I'm in town!

Me and some friends came in yesterday to eat before heading back to our camp at the caving festival for the night and oh my goodness the food absolutely amazing the staff amazing! We went again today before heading home! 1000000/10 recommend!! Don’t forget to try the PB&J burger(we trusted and it did not disappoint) ❤️❤️🦇

We stopped in this brewery for an after dinner drink and were quite satisfied. Not only was our beer good, but the beertender was very attentive and we were happy to have a conversation with him. I feel the building is a work in progress, but it is clean and has a homey feel to it regardless.

First visit made us true believers. Real PNW IPA, and the Bock AT The Moon (R.I.P. Ozzy) was nothing short of amazing! Lemonade also awesome. Fox Hops is 400 miles from us, but we will return again and again...

I had the carnival brat. One of the best brats I have had - mild, juicy with a nice casing snap + well made fries. Would love to have a spicy onions and peppers option (like the italian pepper on hoagies a little north). I had the ramp beer (mountain music) but didn't notice any ramp aroma or flavor - it was however a well brewed cream? ale though - very refreshing. Also had their new Bock Lager (Bock at the Moon) - it was a little cloudy and had a little yeast in the bottom (not sure if intentional) but was caramel-ly and toasty as bocks should be - went down well. Overall, a hole in the wall that is worth a stop in Elkins WV.

Great food, great beer, and there’s board games to play when you wait for your food! We stopped on a road trip and it was totally worth it! We ordered the fried pepperoni, the bratwurst’s, and the foxy burger.

We were passing through town and stopped because of the name. I'm very glad we did. The beers were very good, but the food was the real highlight. The menu has some novel dishes on it, and everything we ate was excellent. The atmosphere was lovely, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. I would stop here again if I was back in the area.

Fox Hops Brewery stands out with personality from the moment you walk in. We loved the logo, and the interior walls are filled with an eclectic mix of local charm—think deer mounts, banjos, and all kinds of fox-themed art. It gives the space a warm, quirky character that sets it apart from your average taproom.

Their kitchen turns out classic pub fare like burgers, wings, and brats, which pair well with a wide range of beers on tap—from easy-drinking blondes and hoppy IPAs to a refreshing gose.

The most memorable beer of our visit, and probably our entire trip down to WV, was easily the Mountain Music - a beer brewed with Ramps. Ramps are a a wild onion/garlic plant native to the region. It had a bold, savory edge and felt like it was made to go with a plate of fries or wings. Definitely a unique pour, and while it might not be for everyone, we appreciated the creativity.
