Well, tried going to jimbos. Said they were open till 11, showed up at 9:30, sign on the door said closing at 10:00, there was a man and woman sitting at the bar, door was locked, I knocked, bartender looked at me, then looked back down. Apparently not my kind of place.

I generally make a point to support local businesses, but Jimbos represents exactly what keeps Buckhannon from moving forward. The issue isn’t just the product, it’s the company it keeps. When a business aligns itself with self-serving, self-centered individuals who present themselves as “community heroes” while operating out of ego and clique loyalty, it speaks volumes about its values. That kind of association overshadows any claim of community spirit. Buckhannon deserves businesses that genuinely uplift people rather than reinforce the same small circle that has long held the town back. For that reason, I won’t be supporting Jimbos, and I would encourage others who want real progress for this community to think twice as well.

I'll be thinking about this place for a long time. Everything was great! Got the Gouda bacon cheese bites, chicken wraps, and the pretzels with the hubby and everything was so so good! Our waitress, Aaliyah, was very helpful and nice. If I'm ever back this way, I'll definitely be hitting up Jimbo's Place again.

Stopped here while passing through town and really enjoyed it. The food was great and the bartender Aaliyah provided great service and was really nice to talk to!
Traditional bar but with good food! Love the boneless chicken wings and sweet potato fries( without the marshmallow fluff for me). They have good salads and burgers too. Come check them out!

Came here several Sundays to watch out of market NFL games and they were so accommodating and friendly! The owner is really nice and you can see how much he cares about the restaurant...always there and helping the servers/bartenders! Good food as well 🍗🍔
