This is one of the better McDonalds locations for sure. I am in the Elkins area about 6 times a year. Charlotte always happens to be there when I stop by and makes my day better. She is always on top of keeping the restaurant clean - I rarely see a crumb. She also always checks on me, whether to ask if I’ve been served yet or to see if I’m comfortable. Charlotte is very kind and provides top-notch customer service. It’s rare to see workers of her quality anymore.

recently they’ve just became more and more rude. walked in one day because they got my order wrong, there were multiple people in there because they kept getting everyone’s orders wrong. and while i was waiting you could very clearly hear the manager screaming at everyone telling them to and i quote “get their shit together” service is absolutely awful. don’t hire people who don’t understand basic service.

I stopped by for a quick lunch on my way to an meeting. I was almost late because they were SO SLOW! They didn't have the fries ready & I waited 15 minutes for my food. There was a huge line. This was 1:38 pm on a Saturday...this should not have happened.

Staff working September 12, 2025 around 9:30-10 pm seemed friendly but gave a basket of fries with what seemed like a medium fry amount. No sauces but employee claimed there were some in there. Sandwiches slopped together and greasy on the buns. Didn't get my money's worth.

Service was absolutely awful. Ordered off the kiosk and had 3 drinks on my order. They forgot to give them to us so we waited 5 minutes for a guy to turn around so we could ask for them. He was in such a hurry and acted like we were an inconvenience for him that he completely messed up all the drinks and acted pissed when we told him they were wrong and to please go remake them.Got a Fanta instead of Hi-C, two cokes instead of a diet coke and a Dr Pepper. Will never go here again.

absolutely awful service sat in drive through for 30 minutes and incredibly rude staff. would never return to this location again. Didn’t even get our food because we were not going to wait over 30 minutes. lady in front of us waited over 30 minutes juts for two cups of coffee. Awful service and rude employees

The food was good but the service was outstanding. Friendly faces, care making sure our order was correct, and checking in to make sure we didn’t need anything else while dining in. Beth, you were a joy to be around. Your customer service was top notch and your kind spirit was appreciated.

Unfortunately, I chose the outside order point and had to wait until all 4 cars in the other lane got waited on, even though I was second there. Then I finally get to the window and they forgot 2 of my drinks. I asked about the drinks and got a less than nice attitude as the girl handed me the drinks they forgot. The only thing I will say in their defense is that it seemed woefully understaffed.

Paid for a quarter pound meal and was asked to pull through, and the meal would be brought to me. The wait time was 20 minutes, and at the time, I was the only one at the drive-thru line. Fries were cold and not fresh. Sandwich was served undercooked as well as cold.
