This place has withstood the test of time here in WV and should be visited by anyone traveling through or vacationing. I have literally never had a bad experience in over 20 years and the food has always been top notch. Service and staff are polite, attentive and just as great as the food.

Got takeout pizza there. I wish they wouldn’t cut it because the cheese sticks to the box and you end up trying to pick cardboard off ever piece. Either don’t cut it or put some parchment paper or something under the pizza or a better grade of box. For a pizza the is 20 bucks we shouldn’t have to eat cardboard.

I've grown up on the original Colasessano's pizza and pepperoni buns. My great grandmother used to work for them. Of course my momal can make their pizza and buns. I occasionally order from the restaurant when I'm out south Fairmont. The last few pizzas I've gotten they have been light on cheese, so I asked why. They then proceeded to tell me that you have to ask for cheese to the crust but then don't tell you that they are going to charge an extra 2.99 to your pizza order. The amount your pay for their pizza and buns is crazy knowing they have changed the ingredients. I'll support Pizza Al's in Morgantown and drive the extra miles before I get taken again for a $20 pizza when they should have cheese all over the pizza not just your middle pieces.

The pizza here is pretty good. Very thick crust. The time before, our pizza had mixed peppers on it and it was absolutely awesome but this time it didn't and the pizza was still good but I missed the peppers.

this is some uniquely WV pizza. Ive been all over for work and eaten a lot of pizza at a lot of different places with different regional forms of pizza and I gotta say Im proud our little Colos stands out. Its definitely a go to place for us. However if youre visiting from out of state the pepperoni bun is a must to indulge in a little piece of wv culture

Not reviewing the pizza. Nothing spectacular but not bad either. My review is about the service. I am in town for work and staying at a local hotel (there are several within walking distance of the restaurant). Stopped by for lunch and although the dining room wasnt open they were still serving carry out. Ordered a pizza, waited for it to be prepared and when I grabbed it I asked if they had a paper plate, napkin and crushed red pepper to go. If you are only offering carry out - wouldn't you think these would be basic requests? The employee went to grab them and when she returned she said they charged for the singular paper plate and the red pepper??!?Isn't that standard for any pizza restaurant - usually sitting on the table? I can go to any carry out or delivery pizza place (or even Costco) and they will happily hand over a few packets. And you want to charge me for a paper plate? Do you charge customers that use plates in your dinning room? Since that wasn't an option for me - would it really be unreasonable to give me a plate? I am spending like $20 on a pizza...I usually don't write reviews unless its unusually good or bad. As I said, I'm from out of town so I wont be back but Id suggest the little ceasars in the gas station around the corner. I'm sure they'd be happy to have your business and not nickle and dime you for a plate and red pepper.
