“We went for a hot dog and were pleasantly surprised to find this place. It seems it is a fairmont classic for hot dogs. The staff were friendly and we had the best hot dog of the day on our hot dog road trip! Just a heads up; it is cash only.”

“There are a number of things that I could start off by saying I enjoyed about this place I could say that the food was really good I could say that the ambience was nice and cozy without being bright and annoying I could say that the service was really good which are all true... But I got to tell you about the dish I don't like the key lime pie I was dead set against trying this and I actually enjoyed it enough I up and wrote this review. Can't recommend enough”

“The ravioli and the Sicilian pasta (mushrooms, oil, garlic) were excellent. The pasta was not overloaded with garlic. The side salads included were very good also. The lemon berry cake was great with a nice lemon taste. We had a side of fried peppers as an appetizer and they were tasty and very good. The dining room was informal and it was very busy. We were told the wait would be about an hour, but it was "only" 45 minutes. They text you. The servers were very helpful and nice (and busy). The cost was quite reasonable.”

“I enjoyed the meal.Not spectacular, but it was as good as it should be (I had the kielbasa, red potatoes and cabbage) and the chicken salad was pretty good too. Just a little disappointing that it was almost a paste consistency. The Fudge Cake was better than advertised. I would order it a dozen times over the Shoney’s fudge cake.If I come back to the area I’ll have to try a different dish. And maybe dine in, but as it is seat yourself, I didn’t want to take up a table by myself.If there’s no parking out front, it’s a good bet that the house is full and there are seats available for the wheelchair bound.”

“This place is always fantastic! The waitresses are so sweet and the food is always delicious! We have went as a group of two and we have had as many as eight people and they never get anything wrong. We have never had to send anything back. Their rye bread and the homemade raisin bread are fantastic! I love that they have fresh cut fries! Salads are delicious as is the steak sandwich but eight times out of 10 we get a sampler for breakfast which leaves you filled for a great price! Highly recommend!”

“The hot dog game is competitive in Fairmont. These guys are ready to Stand toe to toe with legends. The guys behind the counter engaged each and every person. The welcoming nature of everyone was a nice touch. The dogs were spot on. I like my dogs spicy and when they say hot, these provided a kick.”

“My wife and I enjoyed the food. Drove up from SC to visit her father. You will get more food than you can eat. The owners were very hospitable and joked to flatten our tires so we could stay for dinner. Definitely going back on our next visit!!”

“Homestyle Italian cooking. Different special everyday and those specials do run out, especially the pepperoni rolls and pierogis. A case with meats, cheeses, salads, Italian sausage (ground or rope) that you can take home and cook yourself. Take out only. Very tasty. I try to stop at least once a month. They only take cash right now so keep that in mind.Vegetarian options: No veggie options that I am aware of.Parking: Smallish parking lot. Maybe 6-7 spots.Wheelchair accessibility: Have steps to get into the building.”

“This place has withstood the test of time here in WV and should be visited by anyone traveling through or vacationing. I have literally never had a bad experience in over 20 years and the food has always been top notch. Service and staff are polite, attentive and just as great as the food.”

“Wow, we have lived in Fairmont for a few years now but it’s taken us this long to order from here. Too much time wasted! This place is the absolute best. It’s everything you want from Chinese takeout and more. I had the general tso tofu and vegetable lo mein. The tofu was crispy, and the general tso sauce is the best I’ve had in years, I loved the spice to it. The vegetable lo mein was exactly right, cooked perfectly. The crab rangoons are probably the best in Fairmont and Whitehall, at least.Not to mention, everything was packaged perfectly - not a single missing sauce, side, soy sauce packets, napkin, etc. And for the price? You can’t beat it. 5 stars, this is our new takeout spot from now on.”

“My girlfriend and I went here for lunch when we were in Fairmont. I got the fish sandwich which is available during Lent. It was fantastic. I will definitely be back to try the burgers.”

“Good old fashioned hot dogs, nothing fancy but well priced and yummy. Get 'em spicy! Yanns has a lot of regulars that have been coming for years, it's one of those places that's really part of the community.”
