Best ice cream & the price is right. The line may be long but the service is pretty quick & worth the wait. I go out of my way to make this a stop as often as I can. I live an hour and a half away.

This is one of our all time favorite ice cream spots!!! We live over 40 min away but it's worth the drive! The ice cream is so creamy & delicious!!! My husband & I love sharing a banana split. The baby cones are huge! The owner was outside cleaning tables a few mts back....I said you have a great place...he said it was all because he had really great employees!!! So nice to hear and he's right no matter how crazy busy it it everyone is friendly,food always great & orders correct!!!!

First time here and it was popping! The lot was almost full and the line was out into it; there were less people inside, though. The workers were friendly and as fast as possible considering the wait. The music inside was also great, as I'm a sucker for classic rock and pop.
The ice cream (especially in the avalanche) was thick, rich, and creamy. I enjoyed my PBJ avalanche so much that I went back up and got a hot fudge sundae. ?
Great portions and prices and so many options! I took ages to decide because I wanted to try almost all of them. It's easy to see why this is a Fairmont staple.
Update: I can vouch for the Chips Ahoy avalanche too.

I’m updating my former 5/5 on everything review. The last 3-4 times I have been to DCC there has been something left out of my order. The hot dog sauce has 0 flavor. The girl who waited on us yesterday could not be bothered to do anything more than the bare minimum. We had to ask for the rest of our order 2 dif times bf she finally brought everything. And she’s the one who took the order. And we still got something that wasn’t correct. Disappointed.
