Always a great family favorite. The staff here are so patient and friendly. They run great ice creams are HUGE and VERY AFFORDABLE!!! They are always very crowded but that’s expected bc they are a great place. They have a huge menu that includes food and desserts. They have indoor dining or outdoor dining. As well as a take out window. My kids love going here in the summers. They do close over winter but that’s about my only complaint. I love this place, along with the rest of the community!!!

This is a Fairmont landmark. It's a must visit location when open. It's seasonal, opening in the spring and closing in the fall sometime in October. Outstanding menu with plenty of options. Cash and local checks only, but there is an ATM inside if needed. Eat in, eat outside, or take it with you. You have options. I recommend the Fruity Pebble/Cinnamon Toast Crunch Avalanche. Don't judge me. It's amazing. See ya in the spring.

Absolutely delicious ice cream! The must tries are the Avalanches (I had the Pumpkin Spice one) and the Strawberry Shortcake, both were the best. I also had a Banana split, which I thought it was just ok, I felt the banana was too small, and then the thing with the sundaes is that you have to do lots of try and error to see which combo you like the most. The combo I did was alright, but the ice cream itself was very good.
For the hot foods, I wouldn’t recommend unless it is for the Pepperoni Roll. Their style of roll is not my favorite, but is very common in Fairmont and I’ll say is the best one for that particular style; so it is worth trying. However, I would rather make the drive to Morgantown and get the ones in either Mid Atlantic Market or The Pepperoni Bar which are better imo. For the other hot food I don’t recommend. I had the Mozarella sticks and the hot dogs and they were alright but nothing special. The cheese sticks tasted like the ones you get in the movie theaters and the hot dogs were too basic - you can get better ones in other hot dog specific places. So I wouldn’t bother with the hot food portion of the menu tbh.
However, as I mentioned, the ice creams, especially the Strawberry Shortcake and the Avalanches were incredible! And the high variety of sundae combos makes it so you can try different ones until you find your favorite, which is great. So in summary I definitely recommend this place for the ice cream menu! So good!

The people are so nice. I showed up pretty late last night after a 6 hours drive from multiple states away. They accommodated us in the dining room, 7 of us.
Even the guests who were there were very nice. A young man and young lady even moved to another table to allow our family to sit together. Another gentleman made sure the pathway was clear for a wheelchair.
The lady who took our order was efficient and friendly.
Food came out quickly. It was excellent. We got just about everything (pepperoni rolls, ham & cheese, onion rings, curly fries, chili cheese fries), food, slushes, drinks, shakes, and avalanches.
The man (maybe manager/owner) continued to ensure we had napkins, whatever we needed.
I recommend this place.
Plan for it to be busy. A great indicator that you will have a great meal/dessert.

Wanted a place to go for a road trip. What better place than for ice cream? Started out just wanting ice cream but that turned into getting a sandwich before the ice cream. We ordered the Philly cheesecake and it was delicious. Needless to say the ice cream was amazing I ordered the funnel cake sundae. If I lived closer I would be in trouble. Awesome food and service.

THIS PLACE IS AWESOME! That cone is a BABY SIZE! Can you imagine how much they give you in a large?! The hot dogs are REALLY GOOD with “Everything” on them. The artic swirls are ALL really good. I find an excuse to stop here because I accidentally go there after work 🤣. If you’re in Fairmont, this is definitely a place to check out and if you have kids, it’s a must.
